2006 Mercedes SL55 Thank you for considering our 2006 Mercedes SL55, Jet Black with anthracite/black leather interior and auto transmission. I have owned “many” cars in my life and I have to say that the SL55 was/is one of my all-time favorites. The car is the perfect daily driver, smooth comfortable and solid. Put the hard top down and the car transforms into the perfect cruiser/weekend car. To top everything off, you have a supercharged motor giving you 493HP from the glorious 5.4 liter V8 which keeps the car “very” motivated. I purchased this car directly from Mercedes in 2010 as the second owner with 16,635 miles. It was a Mercedes owned vehicle as they had performed a courtesy buy back from the original owner claiming that the A/C control was not functioning. The A/C control was replaced by Mercedes under warranty and I have never had any issues with the A/C and the car now reflects 51,990 miles. The anthracite/black leather interior is gorgeous with the leather soft and supple and looks as close to new as you can get. There are a few rock chips on the front of the hood which aren’t visible in the pictures. With this vehicle always being garage kept and owned by non-smokers, you can be assured that this is one of the nicest examples out there that not only boasts low miles, but has the service and inspection history included. This car has been well cared for from day one by its discerning owners and it shows… The car needs nothing (although I believe the valve cover gaskets will need to be replaced at the next service) and you can be assured that the car can be driven across country with the upmost confidence.
