Vehicle Detail

Extremely solid 1957 Chevrolet 210 sedan. This car was traded in at the Harley Davidson dealership on a new bike. It is a great driver car. Original 6cyl that starts and runs great without smoking, leaking, etc. Does have a bit of a "tick" until it warms up. Original power glide 2-speed automatic that works / shifts great. New tires, good brakes, everything works as it should. The body is straight with some minor rust showing at the bottoms of both front fenders. There has also been some repair work on the drivers front fender by the headlight. The doors, quarter panels, etc... all look good but I am not going to promised there is nothing hidden that I cannot see. The floors, trunk, etc. are solid with no evidence of rust, repairs, panels, or anything weird. It all looks original. The interior is in very nice condition as well for being a 58 year old car. All of the dash lights work, turn signals cancel, heater works, dome light works, speedometer works, wipers work but are slow, windows roll up and down smoothly, and overall is very nice. All of the glass, trim, bumpers, and moldings are also in decent condition for the cars age. Emergency brake works, shift indicator works, and there is not so much as even a crack in the steering wheel! Hubcaps are nice, tires are brand new, exhaust is good, and steering is a little loose but again what one might expect for a 58 year old car. The car fires right up, drives very nice, stops good, and is really a lot of fun to drive. The front end is a little loose when it hits the ruts in the road, it kind of wanders a bit. The only items that I can find that are a concern is the fuel gauge works sometimes but is very erratic, and the windshield wipers are very slow to swipe. All doors and trunk lock / unlock with the key. Once again I am not advertising a show quality car, just an honest old driver car that is very solid and can be driven as is or a great candidate for a full on restoration if that is your taste.
