Vehicle Detail

This is a 1967 International 4 door Panel wagon, and is a very difficult model to find in any condition. It is just like a Travelall version except that it does not have glass in the two rear passenger area doors of on the sides. From what I understand this version was special order only and very few were made. You see a lot of Ford panels, GMC and Chevrolet carry-all, Suburbans and even few Dodge panels, but when was the last time you saw one of these? Exactly.....Probably never. Now that is unique and unique seems to be the buzz word these days from Rat Rods to Restorations. It was the bread delivery van for the Great Harvest Bread company in the early 1970s and had been in a warehouse for a long time. The Bread truck lettering etc. can be easily removed as they are decals. It would make a perfect shop truck or a great way to advertise your business. Also this version is a two wheel drive with a straight front axle and leaf springs. The outside frame width is about 34 inches which means if you want to build a killer rod you could install an IFS from a Crown Vic, or go with a Mustang II IFS, air ride etc. The area where the rear seat would normally be, (under the wood deck) would be a great place to hide your air tanks from sight without having to cut anything up. I looks and rides great just like it is! The engine is a 304 V8. Compression with the engine at operating temp is 140 psi across the board. Oil pressure is 40 psi @ idle. I have installed a rebuilt carburetor, new fuel pump too, new starter, regulator and battery. Just changed the oil and filter also. It has a 4 speed standard transmission. I have installed a new hydraulic clutch master and slave cylinder and the clutch is easy to depress and the transmission shifts great. I have the original oil bath air cleaner, and it will be cleaned and installed this week too. There is a rebuilders tag on the block that shows It was rebuilt in 9/89. The speedometer shows 25,867 miles but I don't know what the actual mileage is as the title show "mileage exempt 0000000" The brakes work fine too and it has been upgraded to a dual master cylinder from a single unit. Tires are fair and useable as is. It is very solid with only a few little rust spots as you can see in the pictures. Frame and under-carriage are rust free. The interior is virtually rust free except for some surface rust on driver and passenger front floors. A good scrub and POR 15! The rockers, and door bottoms are rust free. The interior is bare bones as the originally came and has the original bucket seats. Seat belts installed too. The factory wood deck where rear seat would be in a Travelall can be removed and a seat could be bolted in if you chose to do that. Look it over and buy something unique for a change instead of driving one of those ordinary old Suburbans. Don't miss out, as it may be a very long time before you find another. Title is clear. I think those Good Ole Boys at Gas Monkey Garage should buy this cool old rig and build it into one of their killer rides for the show! Of course you know what the price would look like then...
