1977 Chevy Corvette Stingray Unfinished Restoration Project TONS OF MONEY ALREADY INVESTED! This project was started about 6 years ago but the owner ran out of money toward the end of the restoration and the car has been sitting for the past couple years unfinished so its being offered for sale. Heres what I know about the car, theres been almost $20,000 already invested in the car! The Engine is a stroked 406 with aluminum heads, MSD and a ton of work done to it, I don't believe its ever been started since it was built (the engine is tapped off and wrapped during storage but no idea of its current state). The engine bay looks to be painted, new vacuum lines, new head light components etc. The car does need a transmission the owner had plans of turning the car into a 4 speed but never finished and i don't have the old automatic. The interior was completely restored in black leather everything was redone, door panels, seats, carpet, dash even all the plastic trim pieces around the gauges and shifter console all appear to be new! The custom wheels and tires are also brand new. The exterior was also completely repainted but from sitting and getting moved around it has some flaws. Under car the frame looks great all the suspension looks to be rebuilt with new bushings sway bar etc. Also included is a set of new long tube headers and custom aluminum engine back exhaust system with x pipe and high speed polished mufflers never installed. Theres a tons of parts that come with the car to finish it I would say 95% or the parts are there to finish the car (front grills, stainless rockers, radiation with custom electric cooling fans, exhaust etc) Ive tried to tell you as much as I know about car but please if you have any questions call 347-770-5731 and I will do my best to answer them.
