2004 Cadillac CTS-V Magnuson Supercharged CARFAX REPORT: CARFAX REPORT It has come to my attention that the videos I enclosed below may not work on mobile devices. IF this is the case for you, please go to youtube.com/hoosiersecurity to view the videos, or search for hoosier security on youtube to view them. I am selling my Caddy, affectionaltely known as the Blackillac. I bought this car about a year and a half ago as my first foray into the General Motors LS world. I have been no stranger to the performance world having built many very powerful and well balanced cars with straight sixes and four bangers with plenty of boost and I had been wanting to build and drive a GM LS powered vehicle for a long time. I got this car in my possession and immediately began massaging it to my standards. When I got the vehicle it immediately went to the shop to get all fluids changed (I do mean ALL FLUIDS) and a plan was hatched to combat the famous rear diff problems from this generation of CTS-V. Within a few months all suspension bushings were replaced with polyurethane bushings from either Rev-Shift or Creative Steel, including the differential carrier bushings, the additional of a diff block and the bushings for the rear subframe. I bought every part creative steel offers and supplemented from Rev-Shift for the things they did not make that I wanted to change. Poly bushings include:poly cradle bushingsdiff blockengine mountstrans mountall differential mountsshock bushings and mountscontrol arm bushingsadjustable toe rodsshifter bushings OEM rubber replaced: Driveshaft carrier rebuildDriveshaft coupler (Guibo) Shocks were replaced with new OEM shocks at the same time and all pads and rotors were swapped out for Genuine GM Performance brakes, the one option this car did not appear to have from the factory. The shifter was replaced with a Hurst shifter thereby eliminating that "rowing a boat through butter" feeling that the OEM shifter is notorious for. The drive shaft bearing was replaced, drive shaft rebuilt and the guibo was replaced with an OEM rubber unit. IT does ride stiffer than the stock version even though the shocks and s[rings are OEM, but it will not rattle your fillings out, and it sticks to the road like white to rice. At this point, the factory weaknesses had been addressed and I began having fun with the car. The first addition was the B&B Billy Boat Stainless Long Tube Headers, Mid Pipes and cat-back, all stainless with the double walled tips and center resonator. She has the sound you want in a V8, but its not annoying and does not drone noticeably on the highway. This car is female for sure, and she sounds like she eats children at full tilt, but not obnoxious. Startup is very nice and alerts you to the fact that theres something going on under the hood, but she settles down to a smooth idle. Press the loud pedal though, and this girl loves to party. After driving the car in this state for a few months I decided I wanted to step it up a notch... I installed a Magnuson MP112 Supercharger kit with a few minor upgrades to increase efficiency and reliability. (more belt surface area and better charge cooling) Blower Upgrades:1:1 rear pulley upgrade - very rare, and the way this kit should have come from the factory.Front 3.2" stainless pulley with groovesInternal baffle on the blower has been modified for a better seal against the intercooler coreCarbon JackshaftIntake Air Probe installed in the manifoldUpgraded heat exchanger with Aluminum dash fittings and upgraded water pump for the intercooler.Water Wetter This package puts boost at a rock solid 8PSI, intake temps stay under 150 degrees even on the hottest days when romping from a stop through four full gears. The package was tuned by Vector Motorsports in Michigan to 440RWHP and a super flat torque curve that makes this an incredible blast to drive around town. There is no waiting for power, just tire roasting torque and with the blower setup the way it is, it sounds like a nuclear reactor. Its a pretty cool experience all the way around to throw down on the gas pedal. Because of the upgrades above, it also does not exhibit wheel hop that kills these cars unless you are being stupid and dumping the clutch too fast. Over time I have also performed other maintenance and upgrades, The tires have less than 5k miles on them and are S-04 Pole Positions. I have a set of winter continentals as well that will go with the car. They only have a few hundred miles on them, and that is the extent of how far this car has been driven in snow. I installed an rX Catch Can ($400). If you know anything about boosted cars, you know about these catch cans, and you know no expense has been spared with this car. The car had a boost gauge and AFR and intake temp gauge, but those have been removed, with no indication they were ever installed. the temp probe for the intake temp gauge is installed should you ever want to add a gauge. The car has Lloyds Mats. The car got an Interstate battery about a year ago when the alternator was also replaced. The fuel pump recall has been performed, but we also removed the tank and completely cleaned it and replaced both fuel level senders and the transfer tube. and the factory wheels have been powdercoated black by a wheel specialist. One does have a mark from the curb at the drive through, its a long story and I feel bad enough about it already, so please dont bring that up. The headlights, foglights and reverse lights have been professionally tinted and still allow proper light pass through. The tail lights were done before I got the car and they have a thick film on them. The light passes through them ok, but its not up to my standards. The grill is plastidipped and withstands road chips quite well. It does look menacing. The look matches the sound. Please look at all pictures, I took care to take pics of any areas that are not in excellent shape, you can see the underbody and chassis are Rust Free. There is a small spot of corrosion on the hood. The hood is aluminum, so this should not be rust. If I were keeping it, I would repaint the hood and the spoiler and the mirrors. The car will come with several extra parts, including the original LS6 intake and fuel system, and extra battery and extra OEM stereo, and a few extra odds and ends. I am selling because I need to be able to transport 2 kids and a dog. My kids know that Daddy's car is sacred, no food, no toys, not drooling and feet stay down, but its tough to teach a dog not to drool on the leather. I can only have one car as a daily and I already have a couple of toys, so the Caddy got replaced with a 600HP Tundra. I hate to see it go, but it is a company car, and the company is not in the business of holding assets that dont get used, so its got to go. I will miss the grins this car provides, seriously, it will make your face hurt when you stomp on the throttle. Such a blast to drive. But I need to be using this money to continue to grow the business, not just take up space in my warehouse. I am sure there are other parts that have been replaced and upgraded that I have forgotten. Dyno Pull: Startup: Hurst Shifter Driving: This "video" has over 160 photos of the car throughout the time I have owned it. Most of these are very recent. If there is anything else you want to see or video you want me to take, let me know. There are some duplicates in this video, but there are also many pictures which are not in the listing itself. This is not a rebate, This is not a $500 coupon. If you are shipping it and the winning bid is over $17500, I will write a check to the shipping company of your choosing for up to $500. I will help arrange shipping and I will load the car, but shipping is on the buyer. I will deliver the car for free to anywhere within an hour and a half of Indianapolis, IN. The car will need to be paid in full before that happens. Anyone in or near Indianapolis is welcome to come check out the car in person, bring your mechanic, bring your tools, bring your mirrors and scanners and scopes, whatever you wish. The car is parked indoors in Downtown Indianapolis. If you are serious, I will drive the car to your mechanic (weather permitting) and you are free to pay for an inspection. I recommend checking the car out ahead of time, it is something special, and I absolutely love this car, but confident buyers spend more money, so please, have it checked out. :) Non-Refundable Deposit of $500 is due within 2 days of auction end. You have up to a week to come and get it. If you need longer than that, it is doable, but if you dont communicate, I will offer the car to the next bidder if either of these conditions are not met. Of course, if the car is materially different than the description, I will refund the money, but with this many pictures, carfax report and everything else, that is not going to be the case. This is an auction, there is no reserve, you are bidding to buy. I have set the reserve at my absolute lowest bottom dollar, "the world is on fire and I absolutely have to have the cash" price. That is not the case, and Im betting on a couple of people needing this car in their life so I dont have to take that. But, that said, thats the lowest I would ever consider selling the car for, I need ot be focusing on the business and my employees, not on selling my car. I believe its worth close to $20k, I am biased. Regardless, I have the title in hand, I expect the buyer to have the cash or certified and verified funds on hand for purchase. On Nov-30-15 at 07:49:06 PST, seller added the following information: I received a notice in the mail today from Cadillac about a brake line recall. I will be taking the car to the dealership this week to get that recall performed.
