Up for sale is this stunning, 52,000-mile 1980 911SC Coupe in the desirable combination of Black on Black. When built by Porsche, it was equipped with Leather Front Seats, Heated Outside Mirrors, Blaupunkt CR Stereo Radio, 16" Fuchs Forged Alloy Wheels, Black Roofliner, Additional Rear Speakers, Fog Lights, and Electric Sunroof. I have the original Factory Window Sticker and the price was $32374 when new. It has been tastefully upgraded over the years with a short shifter, European Headlamps and Tail Light Lenses, and the Carrera Chain Tensioners. Over the past two years it has received new oil return tubes, brake hoses, stainless steel heater boxes, muffler, new clutch and flywheel, new crankshaft seal, and spark plug wires. Over that time a total of $7500 has been spent on the car. Please note: the entire exhaust system was replaced but the car does not have a catalytic converter. Please check your state's inspection requirements BEFORE bidding. Many states have an antique or classic car registration available which may eliminate the need for emissions inspection. I purchased it along with a friend with the intention of turning it into a show car, which it clearly can be; however he can no longer invest the time and effort into the project. Since he was providing the storage for the car, it must sadly be sold. Since our ownership we have repainted the passenger door (due to a scratch which I have a photograph of) and the outside mirrors which were chipped. We have the receipt for this work. Other than the rear deck, all the paint appears to be original and the car is cosmetically amazing in person. The engine runs phenomenally well, the car is extremely tight and solid with no rattles, and it steers and brakes just as it should. The electric sunroof, power windows and mirrors, radio, heater, and fans all work as they should. It is equipped with factory A/C but if you know these cars, it works marginally at best. I'd say the air conditioning is working as it should! I have personally owned 16 various 911's over the years, including three 911SC's, so when the opportunity to own this example arrived, I had no hesitation in buying it. The car comes with books, keys, tool kit, original spare wheel/tire, service receipts from 2013, and it is an absolute joy to drive. I have more photos of the car, including panel gaps, front compartment, images of the original window sticker, manuals, and service invoices.
