Vehicle Detail
Picked this bike up on a whim. She's a great start with a ton of potential. It's a 1974 CB750 SOHC motorcycle. Has clear Ohio title. The good: Engine turns over nicely, will run for a bit and then sputters out, will need some carburetor attention. Has newer ignition coils Some of wiring harness has been replaced New Pod Filters 4 in 1 Header w/ baffle removed. Mostly complete Has case guards Tank is in pretty good shape Aftermarket turn signals added Comes with extra parts: two front fenders, another bank of carbsm, stock handle bars, stock turn lights, old wiring harness, amongst other goodies. Currently has cafe style bars, seat is in pretty good condition most chrome is about a 6 or 7 out of 10. The bike does show some age and was driven. It has a tremendous amount of potential for the right person who doesn't mind a little bit of tinkering or wants a good base for a cafe project The bad: -sputters out after it runs a bit. Needs carb work -Missing: center stand, chain guard, lower part of stock air box -Needs a little electrical work finished, Previous owner was in the middle of converting flashers to running lights -Some engine covers were chromed, a few are starting to pit a bit -Headlight will need to be reinstalled, uses H4 bulb -Handlebar controls on both sides are not perfect but are functional. -There is a little scraping and small dent on the bottom side of the left engine cover (see picture) -Side covers show evidence of previous repairs and a couple cracks, but can be further repaired. I also think I have a few of the side cover badges. -The paint is some sort of textured paint, it works, but it's unique. Easily removed if you desire, but just want to mention it. I am pretty picky in my inspections, so don't let the above scare you too much. Check the pictures they tell more than I can describe by words alone. This is a really great bike for somebody that doesn't mind a little work. An experienced bike person could have this one on the road in under a week. It has a clear notarized Ohio title that is ready to go. The bike is sold "as is" and has been described to the best of my ability. I encourage in-person inspections before bidding or making offers. I will do my best to accommodate you. This bike is advertised locally and this auction may be ended early in the event of a local sale.
