Park Ward was founded in 1919 to produce high-class coachwork and in 1920 they bodied their first Rolls-Royce. By 1930 ninety percent of Park Ward's total output of bodies were on Rolls-Royce chassis.Rolls-Royce purchased the firm in 1939 and Park Ward continued not only to produce bodies but also did all of Rolls-Royce experimental car bodies. In 1961 two years after Rolls-Royce purchased H.J.
