Vehicle Detail

1984 Honda V65 Magna VF1100C 1 registered owner, clean title This is a fine example of a 1984 Honda V65 Magna, these bikes are becoming hard to find in this kind of condition, especially with mileage this low. They are becoming rare collectors bikes.Adult owned and always garaged, Extremely low miles "4,555" *Yes the mileage is correct* I recently bought this Honda from the original owner. It had been sitting for a long time in his garage. I just drained the fuel and rebuilt the carburetors to get it running properly, then I went through the entire bike front to back mechanically. I replaced/rebuilt everything that needed attention. I only used Genuine Honda Parts. I should mention I have been a Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, and Suzuki motorcycle mechanic for over 30 Years, working at dealerships and performance shops. I know these bikes well, I used to work on them when they came out in the 80's. I owned one as well. I love these bikes, nothing sounds as good as a V4 motor, and the power & sound they put out just puts a instant smile on your face. I had planned on keeping this one, unfortunately I need to sell it to help pay for a upcoming surgery. All lights work, including the turn signal self canceling feature. Comes with Factory tool kit and Factory Alarm Cable. It is road ready. I wouldn't hesitate for a moment to take this bike on a long ride or trip. It starts right up, runs, shifts and drives excellent. So what's left to do? Well that depends on your taste. You can ride it the way it is with no worries, it does not need anything mechanically, or you can give it a little TLC and make it mint. It is a older bike so it does have some small spots of light oxidation on some of the aluminum parts. The chrome on the edge of the wheels is starting to bubble/peel and although the fuel tank is rust free and dent free, it does have some scratches from being stored in the garage. The headlight housing has a little chrome flaking as well. All due to age. I posted as many pictures as eBay allows. I have also included 2 videos below. Please feel free to email me with any questions. I have been asked if the bike is all original, never repainted and if it has ever been in a accident. It has never been repainted, it is all original. It has never been in a accident, but the original owner did tip it over on the right side in his driveway. He replaced the turn signals with genuine Honda. There are a couple very small marks from the tip over, 1st mark is a very small scratch on the tail edge of the right muffler *it is smaller than a dime*, the 2nd mark is on the rear fender *also smaller than a dime*, 3rd mark is on the stem of the mirror *again smaller than a dime* the rest of the mirror is excellent. 4th mark is on the lower portion of the right footrest underneath. The original owner only replaced the turn signals that got scratched. He felt the other very small marks were so minor that it did not warrant replacement. There is also a small mark on the back of the tachometer housing which either happened from oxidation, the fall or something in the garage may have fell on it. I have pictures I can send of these marks upon request, they will have a dime in the photo next to them so you can judge how small they are. I could not add them to the auction due to the limited number of photo's eBay allows. Terms of sale: A $200.00 non refundable deposit via PayPal is due within 8 hours of auction end. This deposit will be deducted from purchase price. The remaining balance must be in cash or certified bank check. Motorcycle will be released once funds clear.
