Up for grabs is a 1969 autostick VW Beetle...with 71,046 miles. Green with Cream interior. Great project car! As of right now this bug does not start. It started fine last summer, but I was unable to start it up this summer. I have done some troubleshooting and it seems it's not getting spark. I have replaced the distributor cap and checked the spark plugs... plugs appear fine. I have a new coil, condenser and rotor to be replaced. Replacing this will probably get it running, I just don't have the time. I'm sure it could also use a tune up. Seats are in good condition. The headliner has a couple loose areas and so do a couple areas on the side panels. You can pop out the panels and fix this real easy. There is not a radio in the dash, as it was stolen some time ago, it does have a cut out to fit a newer style radio. The body and floor pans are in good condition with very minimal rust. The paint does have some nicks in it. I have owned it since 2009 and have put less than 2000 miles on it. It was used as a daily driver for almost 2 years, and has been only driven lightly since while being in storage. The title is clear. It has had two owners before me that I am aware of. It has been stored inside for the last five years and the previous owner stored it inside for 15 years. The first 7 pictures were taken days ago while in storage, the last five were taken a couple years ago before storing (the time stamp is wrong). Note: The red on the rims is only Plasti-dip. It will pull right off, I have removed it from the rear tire as you can see in the photos. This bug is dusty since I was unable to get it outside this summer for a good wash and shine. Being an autostick I was told that towing on wheels could damage the transmission. A $200 non-refundable deposit is required to hold it until you can pick it up. The remainder can be paid for in CASH ONLY at pick up.
