The vehicle currently had 78,756 miles and was removed from service in Oct 2015 as part of our normal vehicle rotation cycle. The tires have approximately 30 - 40% tread remaining. The truck does have an issue with the engine where it has knocking present. This may require an overhaul or replacement of the engine. The exterior is in fair condition. The front bumper has multiple scrapes & dings present. The grill has multiple scratches & scrapes present. The grill has multiple light scratches & rock chips present, with some on the front edge having surface rust developing. There are light scratches present on the driver side front fender & some adhesive remaining from where decals were previously installed. The driver door has some light scratches present & some adhesive remaining from where decals were previously installed. The driver side b-pillar has multiple scratches present, primarily at the upper portion area. There are multiple scratches & areas of surface rust present along the driver side of the service body compartment doors. There is surface rust present at multiple areas of the rear tail shelf & rear grab handle. There are multiple scratches & areas of surface rust present along the passenger side of the service body compartment doors. The passenger side b-pillar has multiple scratches & some green paint transfer present. The passenger door has some light scratches, green paint transfer present & some adhesive remaining from where decals were previously installed. The aerial device has some surface rust present on the exterior shroud. The interior is in fair condition. The headliner has some stains present. The seat cover has some stains present. There is a rectangular wooden block installed at the center of the vinyl floor from where equipment was previously mounted. This vehicle was serviced on a 120-day preventive maintenance cycle. It was last serviced in Nov 2014 at 64,921 miles. Other repairs to this vehicle include the following. In Nov 2013, at 78,746 miles, an oil leak was repaired which involved replacement of the turbocharger, fuel injectors, fuel pressure regulator, & associated hardware. Also, the radiator was replaced. In Sep 2013, at 77,744 miles, the right front pedestal mount bolt was retorqued. In mid-Sept 2013, at 77,596 miles, the radiator hose at the coolant tank was replaced. In Aug 2013, at 77,076 miles, the ABS module was replaced & reprogrammed. Also in Aug 2013, the #5 cylinder fuel injector was replaced. In Jun 2013, at 76,116 miles, the starter was replaced. In Apr 2012, at 68,620 miles, the aerial boom cradle switch was adjusted to allow the outriggers to raise. In early Apr 2012, at 68,375 miles, the ICP sensor was replaced. In Mar 2012, one fuel injector was replaced. In Dec 2011, at 66,494 miles, the exhaust system was repaired. In Sep 2011, at 64,086 miles, the battery was replaced. In Aug 2011, at 63,963 miles, the front oil seal & gasket were replaced. Also in Aug 2011, at 63,931 miles, the hydraulic oil lines, oil pump, pulleys, & regulator valve were replaced. In July 2011, at 3,063 miles, the heui pump, adapter, fuel line, gaskets, & associated hardware were replaced due to the truck constantly dying while running. Also in Oct 2006, at 27,356 miles, one shock absorber was replaced. In May 2006, at 24,041 miles, the rear step ladder was repaired. In Apr 2006, at 23,168 miles, one light bar bulb was replaced. Also in Apr 2006, two recalls (#06AE17 & #59B01) were repaired at the local Ford dealer. In Apr 2005, at 15,640 miles, the driver side front compartment door spring was replaced & 6 nylon bolts & washers were replaced for the aerial device. In Jan 2005, at 12,752 miles, the right rear marker light assembly was replaced. In Nov 2004, at 11,670 miles, a hydraulic leak at the PTO was repaired. Also in Nov 2004, at 11,387 miles, window deflectors were installed. In Sep 2004, at 9,860 miles, the vehicle was repaired at the local Ford dealer for recalls & warranty items. This vehicle can be viewed between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding national holidays, at the City of Champaign Public Works Department, 702 Edgebrook Drive, Champaign, Illinois. The vehicle must be picked up between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday at the same location. The City of Champaign is required to sell all vehicles through an auction process.
