NO RESERVE This is a real 1964 Chevelle Super Sport SS Coupe with factory 4-speed Muncie, factory tachometer, black interior, and power steering. Car is Palomar Red original paint code, paint appears to be original with all its surviving scars, mild scratches and paint chips. The seats are original black bucket style; build-tag was pulled from under the passenger seat but is no longer legible. The seats are free of tears or holes and are complete. I am the 3rd owner of this car which I purchased out of Palmdale, CA where it was driven and garaged in the green barn as shown. When I purchased the car it was powered by the 350 V8 engine in photo along with the Erson aircleaner. That power plant has now been replaced with the fresh 327 V8 pictured. I set out to make the car more accurate for its time period and acquired a period correct 327 V8 300HP engine from Pete Thompson Racing Engines (pictured on the on the engine stand and now installed with the newer serpentine kit shown.) The car and replacement engine coincide with each other by 2 months. I installed the disc brake kit, brake lines, and master cylinder. The pan has a half-dollar sized hole under the passenger and the driver foot area that can be easily repaired. I replaced the heater box as there was build up that caused it to vent dust into the car. Other than this, the car is bone dry and free of any major rust issues. The rear-end stamp on the axle, it is ZA 3 24 for a 3.08, 4-speed. The casting on the differential is G33 or G88. Body is very straight, doors click open/closed w minimal effort as good as a new car. There is no collision damage on car, accident free. This auction is for the car and all the components listed below.
