Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinon of how it runs and drives so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take your time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is my 2001 Mercedes-Benz S55 AMG sedan. It is finished in slate gray over black with matching tinted windows. I have a bit of a hoarding problem when it comes to cool cars, haha. I am working on this. I've decided I am going to have my warehouse cleared out by Christmas. Among other toys I've been holding on to, my S55 is going to find herself a new home. As you can see, this is a great looking sedan. I've never seen another S55 in this color. The finish has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. The worst thing I can say about the exterior of this car is that the little square plastic insert that covers the rear tow hook has fallen off. Otherwise, you'd be hard pressed to find much to complain about on the exterior. I would rate the exterior of this S55 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. Again, please keep in mind that this is an older vehicle. I'm sure it's not perfect...but you're also not paying $140,000 for it either, so please be realistic. The body looks great and everything lines up nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The windows are professionally tinted and look great against the dark gray exterior. The 18" staggered AMG wheels aren't perfect but show well for their age. The tires are a matching set and have average tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean the exterior of this S55 looks. I would rate the inteiror of this S55 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets show well for their age and look good. All of the wood interior veneers are intact and show very well. The power windows, mirrors, seats, sunroof and central locks all work properly. As with most W220's, the plastic trim around the drivers seat is broken. Both front seats are power operated, heated and air conditioned. The power rear sunshade raises and lowers smoothly. I've owned a few of these and I can say that they are one of the best all around cars I could think of. They are big, comfortable, fast, reliable and very well appointed. The seats show well for their age and are very comfortable. The only wear I can see are some (what look to be) scratch marks on the surface of the passengers front seat cushion. The audio system is original and sounds great. It uses and integrated in-dash radio, cassette, CD and NAV unit that is very easy to use. There are steering wheel audio controls, too. The climate control system is fully automatic and is working properly. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The trunk is spacious and clean. The only other bad thing I can say about the interior is that the center cup holder is broken, which is also somewhat common as these vehicles age. Please take your time to check out each of the photos carefully. These are rather hard to find. I've been fortunate enough to own a few and have been very happy with them. I've been using a W220 S55 as my daily driver for the last year and a half, except for when it snows, and couldn't be happier. Mechanically, this S55 appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 5.4L hand built AMG V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are excellent. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. The steering and brakes feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. The airbag light stays on. When I first got this S55, the check engine light was on. It went off a while ago and hasn't shown itself since...but I wanted to let you know in case it does so you're not surprised. There have been no other warnings on. The ABC pump is nice and quiet. I cannot say enough as to how wonderful these cars are. The ride is smooth and composed, yet handling is impressive. They are fast, comfortable, reliable and will get fuel economy in the mid 20's if you can keep your foot out of the fun pedal. I average 24mpg mixed driving in my other S55 that I've had for the last year and a half. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts perfectly. This is one of the best automatics I've come across. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. I hate to see these cars go, but the truth is simple...I don't drive it enough. You have to drive these cars. I'm going to be clearing out my warehouse before it gets too cold so I have room indoors to work in the winter weather that lies ahead. I hope this car will go to someone who will enjoy her and love her. Before bidding on this car, please make yourself familiar with these cars if you are not already. The W220's have some natural quirks, as most high end cars do. Please understand that you will still need to maintain a $100,000+ car. Although this car is older and has depreciated significantly, that doen't make it a cheap car to own...please understand that. Someone is going to get quite a lot of car for their dollar. Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinon of how it runs and drives so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take your time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction is my 2001 Mercedes-Benz S55 AMG sedan. It is finished in slate gray over black with matching tinted windows. I have a bit of a hoarding problem when it comes to cool cars, haha. I am working on this. I've decided I am going to have my warehouse cleared out by Christmas. Among other toys I've been holding on to, my S55 is going to find herself a new home. As you can see, this is a great looking sedan. I've never seen another S55 in this color. The finish has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. The worst thing I can say about the exterior of this car is that the little square plastic insert that covers the rear tow hook has fallen off. Otherwise, you'd be hard pressed to find much to complain about on the exterior. I would rate the exterior of this S55 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. Again, please keep in mind that this is an older vehicle. I'm sure it's not perfect...but you're also not paying $140,000 for it either, so please be realistic. The body looks great and everything lines up nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The windows are professionally tinted and look great against the dark gray exterior. The 18" staggered AMG wheels aren't perfect but show well for their age. The tires are a matching set and have average tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean the exterior of this S55 looks.
I would rate the inteiror of this S55 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets show well for their age and look good. All of the wood interior veneers are intact and show very well. The power windows, mirrors, seats, sunroof and central locks all work properly. As with most W220's, the plastic trim around the drivers seat is broken. Both front seats are power operated, heated and air conditioned. The power rear sunshade raises and lowers smoothly. I've owned a few of these and I can say that they are one of the best all around cars I could think of. They are big, comfortable, fast, reliable and very well appointed. The seats show well for their age and are very comfortable. The only wear I can see are some (what look to be) scratch marks on the surface of the passengers front seat cushion. The audio system is original and sounds great. It uses and integrated in-dash radio, cassette, CD and NAV unit that is very easy to use. There are steering wheel audio controls, too. The climate control system is fully automatic and is working properly. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The trunk is spacious and clean. The only other bad thing I can say about the interior is that the center cup holder is broken, which is also somewhat common as these vehicles age. Please take your time to check out each of the photos carefully. These are rather hard to find. I've been fortunate enough to own a few and have been very happy with them. I've been using a W220 S55 as my daily driver for the last year and a half, except for when it snows, and couldn't be happier.
Mechanically, this S55 appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 5.4L hand built AMG V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are excellent. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. The steering and brakes feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. The airbag light stays on. When I first got this S55, the check engine light was on. It went off a while ago and hasn't shown itself since...but I wanted to let you know in case it does so you're not surprised. There have been no other warnings on. The ABC pump is nice and quiet. I cannot say enough as to how wonderful these cars are. The ride is smooth and composed, yet handling is impressive. They are fast, comfortable, reliable and will get fuel economy in the mid 20's if you can keep your foot out of the fun pedal. I average 24mpg mixed driving in my other S55 that I've had for the last year and a half. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts perfectly. This is one of the best automatics I've come across. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. I hate to see these cars go, but the truth is simple...I don't drive it enough. You have to drive these cars. I'm going to be clearing out my warehouse before it gets too cold so I have room indoors to work in the winter weather that lies ahead. I hope this car will go to someone who will enjoy her and love her. Before bidding on this car, please make yourself familiar with these cars if you are not already. The W220's have some natural quirks, as most high end cars do. Please understand that you will still need to maintain a $100,000+ car. Although this car is older and has depreciated significantly, that doen't make it a cheap car to own...please understand that. Someone is going to get quite a lot of car for their dollar. Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.

We are a PennDOT issuing agent and able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents.
