A lot of enthusiasts look for great deals on great cars that need only a little bit of work. This M Roadster is one of those cars. We're offering it at a low starting bid and no reserve so that you can save on an increasingly sought-after BMW. Styled after the beautiful roadsters of the 1950s, the Z3M blends modern performance and a classic feel into an immensely enjoyable car. This particular M Roadster is finished in Estoril Blue, with black and blue leather interior, arguably the best looking combination on these cars. The exterior Estoril Blue paint is in fair condition, with some chips and scratches. The lower front nose shows some paint damage (see photos), likely from hitting a parking stop. The mirror housings have sun fade and peeling clear coat, and the mirror bases are lightly bubbled. The M badging is also faded. The rear window has been removed from the top, and a replacement comes with the car. It will need to be installed by a canvas top specialist (e.g. boat canvas repair shops). There are no accidents reported on CarFax, though there are some indications of previous paint work in places. The finish on the factory wheels is in very good condition, though there is curb rash on both rear wheels (see photos). The tires are also in very good condition have more than 50% tread remaining. Mechanically, the M runs and drives very well. The engine is extremely smooth, as is the transmission and shifter. The clutch holds firmly and engages smoothly. All lighting, gauges and electrical components are in perfect working order. The brakes are strong and stop the car straight and quickly. The front struts are in very poor condition, however, and need to be replaced before driving this car any distance. Please either bring a trailer or we will help you make arrangements to have the struts replaced by any of several excellent mechanics local to us. The interior is clean, though the blue finish shows signs of wear in regular locations around buttons and controls, as well as sun fading on the top of the dash. The previously aftermarket stereo was stolen from the car (not pictured), and is missing. The bezel surround was broken during the theft and also needs to be replaced. The rear view mirror has some delamination around the edges. The driver's seating surface is free of cracks or tears, and the seats are very comfortable. All interior accessories are in working order, including power seats, windows, locks, etc. Specifications for the BMW Z3 M Roaster are as follows: - 3.2l inline six with 240hp - Limited slip differential - Five speed manual transmission - Two-tone power Leather seats - Cruise, ABS, Power windows/locks/mirrors - Power convertible top As mentioned above, this M Roadster has a few issues which should be addressed, and any potential bidder or buyer should be aware of them. It cannot be driven any distance or at freeway speeds until the front struts are replaced. The rear window also needs to be installed. Queen City Motorsports can arrange to have these repairs done on behalf of the winning bidder. Additionally, the car currently lacks a stereo due to theft.
