Bought this 9 years ago for a "go to the hardware store" vehicle. Replaced the shocks, ball joints, repaired seats and put in new headliner. I've only put on about 10,000 miles of the 173 thousand that are on the car. It starts in sub zero weather and the 4WD works fine. Locking hubs are good. Tires are old but have plenty of tread. Minor dent in left front fender side. AC needs charging an should work. I've never put charge in it because I only drive the car in late fall, winter, and early spring and only locally. There is minor rust consistent with age, but no rust through anywhere. Power steering works great, brakes are good and xmission shifts properly. There is some hesitation when you step on the gas when the engine is cold. Probably a worn carb accelerator pump. The care will not pass emissions tests without a new catalytic converter, but will pass safety. I've got several yeas of cancer treatments coming up and I have 3 other cars, so it is time for this one to go. i can no longer do work on it. It sells where is as is. It is dirty and needs a real cleaning inside and out, but for the price it will sell at, I'm not investing the time. I would not recommend driving it long distances, so if you are outside of the cache valley in Utah, you should plan on picking it up on a trailer. It would probably be fine, but it hasn't been driven at highway speeds for any significant times since I bought it. Because of the pretty decent overall condition of the car, it would be a great candidate for an engine upgrade to a 3 liter fuel injected engine or even the popular V8 modification for these cars.
