This jeep was built and restored from the ground up with no expense spared !   It was built / restored to drive and enjoy as a Classic Jeep should be - For Both On or Off road use. It's a very reliable and nice driving and ridding Jeep on the street if your looking for a daily driver.  The Heater work's - Wipers Work - Also come's with Full soft top and Full soft door's for cold day's or winter use. Jeep has only been used as a part time toy and was driven around town on nice weather day's and taken on the yearly off road camping / 4 wheel drive adventures. This Jeep is a joy to drive on and off road. If you're an experienced 4 wheel drive person this Jeep was built to take you places that others 4 wheel drive vehicles just can't go. It's a 52,000 mile original Jeep CJ5 that has been adult owned all it's life and has been garaged kept. The body is outstanding and laser straight - No rust - No rot - and not bondo filled. Nicer looking body and paint today - then the day it was sold new! Jeep was painted raven black, Base coat / clear coat then color sanded and buffed to a wet glass finish, No orange peal in paint = SEE PHOTO'S. One of the nicest looking Classic Jeep CJ5 you will ever find. ( It was not built to be a national show jeep that live's on a trailer that you "push on and off" with white gloves on). With that said if this Jeep was any nicer or cleaner "you would not want to drive it and get it dirty". It's Nice and It's very sanitary inside and out, top to bottom - front to rear. SEE PHOTO'S ! Jeep is powered by a V8 304 motor that run's outstanding and purrs like a cat! The motor is backed with a upgraded T18 - 4 speed manual transmission with a (granny low 1st gear great for Off Road use). The 4 wheel drive transfer case is the good Dana 20 that has also been rebuilt and "re geared to a lower 4 wheel " low range" if off road driving". Upgraded to a 6.3 to 1 low range gear ratio when in low range 4 wheel drive. ( That's a baby crawl speed at best - SEE VIDEO - great gearing to hill climb or climb over a tree. Jeep was also " re geared to a "higher - high range gear ratio" than stock Jeep cj5 came with when in 2 wheel drive " High range." street driving. nbsp; So you get the best of both world's On the street and when going Off road. The rear end was also / re fitted with the good Dana 44 with a floating detroit locker. Both the rear axles also updated to "Heavy duty open spline axles" with a rear WARN locking hub kit. Yes, it also has Warn ( rear locking hub's kit on the rear axles ) Why ? If you had a rear axle issue off road you can just unlock the bad side axle and drive out of the sticks or back woods in " 3 wheel drive". How many Jeep's can do that ? = SEE VIDEO!. It's a very expensive set up and you won't find it on most Jeeps due to the cost to install a Dana 44 rear end and rear Warn locking hub kit.   Like I said it was built to 4 wheel with the best of the best off road.   The front end is a rebuilt Dana 30 also fitted with power locker and upgraded heavy duty axles and WARN front locking hub's. The Front and Rear end both run a 4;27 gear set = Great combo for ON or OFF ROAD DRIVING. with 33 inch tall tire's 12.5 wide . ( Due the math that's over 4 feet of tire rubber on the ground so you have great grip and tire traction) . Jeep also fitted with full roll cage "front and rear" for driver and rear passenger safety. Warn 12,000 lb power winch mounted on custom front bumper with a "extra bottom side winch roller " that will let you run the front winch cable under vehicle to the rear of vehicle = SEE VIDEO.  Winch will pull you out forward or backwards if required. Jeep also has (Two extra drive lines ) with U joint's fitted on extra set of drive lines. Both extra drive lines mounted to the bottom side of Jeep . = SEE VIDEO. It's nice to have extra set of drive line with U joint on hand if you ever broke something off road. (The U joints always the weak link in any 4 wheel drive) so having extra set is always better. = SEE VIDEO. The Bottom side also fitted with custom skid plate that cover the Oil pan to keep Oil pan safe. The Skid plate also covers the bottom side of transmission and transfer case to keep them safe too when off road. ! Skid plate pad's  also fitted to the bottom side of front and rear shackle U bolt's. The Jeep was also fitted with custom installed 1/4 flat plate steel under driver and passenger area, giving you a Rock guard / Skid plate below driver and passenger side panels so you won't get body damage Off Road and happen to high center vehicle. = SEE VIDEO  Like I said it was built for the Best of Both Worlds. You can drive it every day around town and take it to your local car show . " OR " put it in 4 wheel drive and go OFF ROAD with the best of the best! This Jeep is very reliable and won't leave you on broke down on the side of the road or stuck in the wood's. I would rate this Jeep one of the nicest overall built and off road option equipped Classic CJ on this planet! You won't find another like it! I have owned and restored many Classic 4 Wheel drive's over the past 40 years and this CJ ranks at the top of the list for a Jeep built for both on and off road use.
