Vehicle Detail
This is an extremely rare 1961 Dodge Power Wagon, 1 of 281 built, and was found on a small farm in Central Washington state. It has 131,816 original miles and runs and drives, although it has not been on the road since 2009. I had planned a full restoration but a recent auto accident has prevented this, so I am selling it. The truck is the first year of the Dodge Sweptline bed design, has the original 8 lug 3/4 ton differentials and springs, Dana 44 front and Dana 60 rear. The body is extremely nice with no major body damage ever. It does have 4 small dents on the cab roof above the windshield from the shed it was parked under settled under a heavy snow fall. There is some rust in the drivers and passenger floors that might take a 1/3 floor patch, Some minor rust in the lower drivers door, 2x4 inch area. The truck does sport a "fine" rattle can primer finish. The glass is all good but does need new rubber seals on door windows and doors. The interior has the original painted dash with the original "Arctic" heater. This is the nicest, mostly unmolested Power Wagon I have seen. It would be an easy restoration and would be a great candidate for a Cummins swap. It is definitely a "mans" truck, no power steering, no power brakes, no carpet, no power windows. It doesn't even have factory arm rests. Its a "POWER WAGON".
