Vehicle Detail

Up for bid is a clean 1989 3/4 ton Chevy suburban. I bought the vehicle from the 2nd owner who has owned it since 1994. This is an original Ca truck and has absolutely no rust anywhere. The body does have some bumps and bruises but 0 rust. He had the truck sitting on non-op status on his property for the last 8-10 years. Before the truck was put away some large upgrades were done. Truck has 152k miles on the chassis but only 18k miles on a crate GM Performance Parts 454 HO 425 horsepower/500 lb/ft torque big block. Here is a description on this BEAST of a motor. http://www.chevrolet.com/performance/crate-engines/big-block-454-ho.html. Fuel is a Holley DP 650 with a true return style pump system. Also has a true functioning K&N dual cold air intake system. Cooling is handled by a 4 row all metal oversized radiator. Truck runs cool even in California's 100* summer weather. When the motor was installed, a built TH400 auto and Gear Vendors Overdrive was also installed. This allows effortless freeway cruising at 70+ mph. Transmission has an auxiliary cooler and fan mounted under the truck. There is over $12k just in motor and trans in this truck. It is an absolute monster and will pull your house off its foundation. Axles have 3.73 gears and a rear locker. ZERO LEAKS OF ANY KIND. This trucks leaks no fluid whatsoever. See the pics of under carriage. Suspension is 4" pro comp lift with springs up front and blocks in the rear. Shocks are good and brakes are strong. Truck sits on nice aluminum wheels and E-rated 285/75r16 Bridgestone tires. They have decent tread but are getting dry. I wouldn't hesitate to take them across the country, but they'll need replaced in a year or so. Gigantic front winch bumper will plow through anything you might go up against LOL. Also makes it easy to work on the truck giving you a nice platform to stand on. The interior on the truck is real nice. Shows typical wear for a 26 year old truck, but certainly no abuse. Truck seats 8 and rear seat is removable. This suburban is barn door style. All doors operate as they should. All power windows and locks work. Pass side front window is a bit slow; all others are great. Headliner is beginning to sag in some spots and AC needs a charge. All AC components are in tact and in working fashion, but Freon is needed. All modes of climate control function as they should (feet, defrost, heat, vent, etc etc). All vehicle lights and turn signals work as they should. Overall this truck is in presentable condition and mechanically it runs like a scalded ass ape. It holds a current CLEAN California title in my name. DMV status is currently "non-op" so no fees accruing as this is a spare vehicle for me. I would not hesitate to drive this truck ANYWHERE at any time. Truck is also listed for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. This will be a cash sale. I will also accept a cashiers check ONLY if I am present when buyer obtains check from his/her bank.
