2008 Mercedes Benz GL450 Bought as a salvage to rebuild (flood damage), but no time to finish rebuilding. State the car is in now:Car starts and runs, engine was not submerged. This GL450 can shift from park, to drive to reverse, but will not shift beyond first gear. Most other things to work in the car, interior has been professionally cleaned and various modules have been replaced (list below). Other notable items that do not work:A/C is in need of a recharge (all electronics are working).Buttons that operate the tailgate are non operational.The sunroof needs programming(?) to allow it to open (it will "vent" but will not open).The airbag computer has been replaced, but needs to be reprogrammed.The radio seems to function, but no audio from the speakers. Body is clean, with only some minor scratches (Use the questions link if you want photos). Understand you are purchasing a car that does have a salvage title, so there may be other things wrong. You are purchasing this car AS-IS. You cannot drive this car away, it only has first gear (enough to get it onto shipping transport). Right now this car has a Wisconsin Salvage title. In order to drive this car, you will need to get it re-certified in your home state. I know the process for this in Wisconsin, but not for other states, do your research.
