Fantastic Bike in great condition. If you don't know this model, Google it, it has quite a following. I did a 700 mile day on a Valkyrie Interstate which is what lead me to buy this bike. This one is in great condition with the only deviations from stock being a tall windscreen (very quiet in the seat, and I'm 6'2"), a Seargent Seat with Removable backrest (perfect stock seat comes with the bike) and Baker Air-Wings (Crotch-Coolers). This bike does not have the optional CB or the rear speakers. I love the stock look of this bike and took off a lot of the chrome "extras" that the previous owner (original, I believe) had on it when I bought it 8 years ago. I have the original side covers and the cover that goes between them that holds the keyhole for the seat release - they all have broken or cracked tabs, so I replaced them with new factory ones that are on the bike now. I also have the original alternator, which died on me in 2009 and was replaced, if you want to have the original re-wound. The bike is always garaged. Chrome is in excellent shape with only the mirrors showing some pitting. Aluminum shows some light pitting in places but is overall very good. the Paint is in really nice condition, with a fantastic finish and an aged luster with great shine and no chips. There is a small area on the right saddlebag that was hit with egg and not attended to soon enough and it marred the finish, but you have to look for it to see where. The previous owner put a mud flap on the bottom of the front fender, which I removed, leaving three small holes that are very hard to see. Mechanically, the bike is ready to go anywhere and is in great condition. I just had the steering stem bearings replaced, the front forks flushed and put a new battery in It goes, stops, shifts and rides beautifully - it really is one of the smoothest rides on the planet. It is the anti-Harley, no shakes, no parts falling off, and with the stock exhaust it doesn't set off car alarms. let me know if you have any questions.I would be happy to deliver (ride) the bike to you within 1,500 miles or so of San Francisco, so long as you give me a ride to the nearest commercial airport.
