Vehicle Detail

I bought this Ford F100 short box 1/2 ton from the previous owner who had plans for this Ford F100 to be built with a big block 429 cobra jet put in it. He welded a lincoln stub frame with front axel and as the pics show, he did a good job and right in my opinion. He never got around to finishing it and he had to move south to Texas and asked if I was interested in buying it. I am offering it for sale so someone can give it attention and build a rare truck like this deserves! The metal on this truck is mostly rust free which makes it a rare find being that it is a 1/2 ton short box with a very solid body. I am selling the truck with the 429 engine and trans that was running in a cougar when the previous owner removed it to go into this truck. The winning bid will have the engine and trans set in the back of the box for delivery. I was told that the motor mounts line up perfect with this engine. The orignal 1956 drive shaft and rear end are still in the truck. As you can see in the pics and video, the cab is really solid (cab doors, floors fenders and box) Be sure to look at the pics to see any minor spot I saw, ( small spot in cab corner, small spot on edge of rear fenders, dents in roof and hood. etc) It does comes with a extra hood.Tthe glass is there but has cracks as pictured. It is missing the tailgate and there is plywood in the box but no original wood, and the truck rolls no problem. The dash is intact and looks great. It comes with a clean numbers matching title with the original tag on the truck ready for you to register. I do not want to overcall this truck or undercall it, let the pictures and description tell the story. I encourage and invite you to come and inspect the truck or have ebay do a inspection for you before placing a bid. I require a 500 dollar non Refundable paypal deposit within 24 hours of auction end. If I do not get the deposit within the time frame or before you come for the truck, I will assume you are a dreamer or a scammer and not serious about buying it. Winning the auction means you are buying the truck, it is not a invite to come and negotiate. make sure to look at the pictures, and read the description/ do your homework before bidding. If you are reading this then you already know this is the most sought after truck to restore. We can either assist with your shipping needs, and we may have a shipping source available for a extra shipping charge with 200-300 mile radius. We reserve the right to end this auction at anytime. We do have a few other photos available upon request, as long as your an active bidder, please no tire kickers. 704-737-1753On Oct-05-15 at 09:27:58 PDT, seller added the following information: I HAD SOME TROUBLE WITH PHOTOS SO HERE IS A LINK YOU CAN COPY AND PASTE INTO YOUR BROWSER: https://youtu.be/NYRcjkAFW_I I bought this Ford F100 short box 1/2 ton from the previous owner who had plans for this Ford F100 to be built with a big block 429 cobra jet put in it.
