Vehicle Detail
1977 R100S - matching numbers / unrestored original condition. 39,600 miles and counting. This is a pre-EPA bike with 40mm carbs. I went through this bike from front to rear this winter: Instrument gauge rebuilt. Rebuilt forks (seals, bumpers, springs), steering head bearing service, re-sleeved/rebuilt master cylinder, new Speigler stainless brake lines, rebuilt calipers and new pads, splines lubed and in excellent condition, swing arm bearings serviced, rear brake service/lube and splines inspected and noted to be in excellent condition, valves set, heads torqued, advance serviced and timed, sump pickup cleaned with oil pan gasket replaced, carbs rebuilt and synchronized, fuel tank cleaned and taps rebuilt, new alcohol resistant motion pro fuel lines, new rubber bits including: headlight gasket, grips, tool tray gasket and assorted other odds/ends, includes original tool kit and pump, luggage racks (no bags),dyna ignition, all electrical connections cleaned, no dents in tank, 2 small defects in rear of cowl, bodywork has some scratches, fading, and wear consistent with age - overall good shape cosmetically, rear grab bar and mirror stalks with flaking paint. seat foam and cover excellent, original rear shocks in good working order, tires with life left in them, good odyssey battery, all fluids changed, new air filter and plugs, starts/shifts/runs/stops as should. Only other items I had planned for future- replace weepy pushrod seals and base gaskets and possibly repair clock - ticks but doesn't move, left unplugged. Please contact with any questions. Happy to pick up at Kingston train station or Providence airport for a fly/ride.Please contact with any questions or if additional specific photos desired
