Finally parting ways with my baby :( Starting a family soon and this just isn't going to work for that.Purchased new from Keeler Mini, ordered to the spec I wanted.2008 Mini Cooper SFactory original options:6 speed manualLimited Slip DifferentialWinter PackagePremium package Sport suspensionFactory Aerokit (NOT the JCW one)Auto dimming mirrorBi-Xenon/HID headlights with clear turn signalsMulti Function Steering wheelPremium stereo optionAll weather mats, including boot areaLeatheretteAnthracite HeadlinerBrushed aluminum accentsJCW Carbon Wing Added goodies:DoS water to air intercooler setupDoS IntakeBSH Oil catch canDiverter valve upgradeWMW Stainless turbo oil linesFactory turbo ceramic coatedFactory exhaust manifold ceramic coated and wrappedRiss Racing catless downpipeInvidia catbackCP Forged pistons stock compression ratioNew timing chain with updated tensionerNew water pumpNew thermostatNew serpentine belt tensionersNew belts and hosesAll new bottom end bearings (didn't need them but replaced when doing pistons)AccessPortMegan Racing coiloversUpper and lower H-Sport rear control armsTSW 19mm rear swaybarFront motor mount bushing inserts (Poly)Drilled and slotted rotors front and rear Fender arches smoothed and painted charcoalSide skirts painted to matchStripes painted on hood, front and rear bumpersBlack out beltline kitJoey headlight mod same charcoal color same as skirts/flaresChrome trim, scoop, and rear hatch handle painted charcoal30% tintLED taillight assemblies3rd brake light pulsarShort shift adapterStubby AntennaPassport X8500 Hard mounted and hard wired to rearview mirror (easy to completely remove) The good: Car runs like a bat out of hell, even on the stage 1 alta tune. Handles like it's on rails, and the motor is bullet proof now. Wouldn't hurt to have a custom tune done though which is very easy to have done with the Alta Accesport that is included. Also passes inspection no problem without cats due to the Accesport as well. The bad: The flex pipe section of the invidia exhaust has started to leak and should be repaired soon, runs fine just is louder than normal. The ring gap is set for running stock or higher boost, being that they are forged pistons the engine MUST be warmed up before driving hard. Set of 18" Konig Swurve wheels including 1 that has a dented repairable rim are included with TPMS installed. They need tires though. Dent is on the inside lip(stupid upstate NY potholes). Last picture is of the car with those wheels from the Fall. 16" stock R84 wheels with brand new Yokohama summer/all season performance tires are on the car. A set of snow tires with 1 season on them is also included. Oh and of course the hole in the rear bumper from being hit in a parking lot. I have a spare rear bumper without a hole I planned on repainting the stripes on and swapping at some point but never got around to. This thing just plain screams under full load at full throttle. Burbles nicely under decel, and doesn't drone bad at all cruising at highway speeds. (Or i'm just used to how loud it is, i've only ever gotten compliments...does NOT sound like a fart can on a civic)I have the original catback, original sport suspension setup, Bently service manual etc. I also have a proper sub enclosure with a sub in it but no amp that makes the back hatch area level with the back seats when they fold down. The car hasn't seen more than 3 winters since I bought it in 2008. I love this car, first new car I ever bought...but family first unfortunately. Typical dings and some nicks in the front bumper from driving it. The major motor rebuild was finished just about 6,000 miles ago. Including all new timing chain components, water pump, idler pulleys, belts, hoses etc at that time. If you would like to you could fly in or get here however possible and drive it home. I'm very close to the Albany International airport or Greyhound or any of those and could pick you up. There is a personal loan still tied to the car through One Main Financial for a small amount. If you get a loan your bank will give you a check for my bank for the loan and a check for me. Or we could do it in person and go right to that bank which is near my house to take care of it so I can give you the lien release. Not a big deal but figured it was worth mentioning. Any check you have must be from a legitimate bank I can call to verify funds, or go to in person to cash the check when you are present. Feel free to contact me for test drives or any questions, the car is still on the road so the mileage will vary slightly. My reserve is set at about trade in value, considering I could just trade it in instead. Would rather not after all the hard work and time i've put into this car though. Also the car does in fact have the rare factory optional limited slip differential. This was not added later or a transmission swap. The factory Aerokit is different bumpers and sideskirts than regular S stuff, but NOT the JCW kit. The aerokit was a factory installed not dealer installed option. The clutch was replaced about 15k miles ago. The water to air intercooler setup uses it's own coolant, doesn't share engine coolant or that would defeat the purpose of it. It has a small pump that runs when the engine is on. Intake temperature recovery times are impressive and the turbo can push air almost directly into the motor. 10 feet less tubing to fill in order to create the same levels of boost.
