1977 MG MGB

I am listing this 1977 MGB for a friend. If you have questions on the car call Norm at: 517-431-2245 8 - 5 EST. He is the owner. Since I know MGB's he asked me to list this car for him on Ebay. He has owned this original California car for many many years. Has driven it cross country from California to Michigan several times. A few years ago he decided to restore it. The engine was rebuilt by a local machine shop and test run after the rebuild. The engine is setup for dual SU carbs. Recently the front and rear suspensions were rebuilt and he had the body professionally prepped and painted in a metallic blue with white Cobra stripes. I looked the car over quite well and the only problem I could see was that at one pint someone cut the frame cross member off and never replaced it. This could easily be done with 2" square tubing. The bodyshell is quite sound...no rust at all and very straight. The transmission is an O/D and was working before the restoration was started. The car is complete but as you can see in the photos some assembly is required. Please call Norm with questions. The car is located in Tipton, Michigan. This is what the owner has into just the paint and body work, much less the rebuilt engine (has receipts) You can see the custom upholestered seats on the shelf in one of the photos.
