For auction is my 1987 Toyota Pickup, which I am the second owner of. The truck was bought new by the previous owner in 1987 at Toyota of Florence (South Carolina). With both him and I the truck has spent it's whole life in this part of SC. When I purchased it, I didn't really need it.. However, when I saw the condition and records he kept it was hard to pass up. The truck runs and drives great, and it's hard to believe it's almost 30 years old! The paint is original, and it's an accident free vehicle. At this point the paint is faded in some areas and the clear coat 'cracking' mainly on the passenger side fender. So, the only draw back to the vehicle is the paint. However, the body is solid and straight, and interior as a whole is in great shape. The carpet has some stains, and there is a slight crack in the dash. The seat is in great condition, and shows little sign of wear. The bed is in great shape, and was apparently never used to haul much. Again, for the age it looks really good. Most importantly to me is the fact that it runs and drives so good. I have a stack of receipts that were left in the glove box, which document much of the scheduled maintenance and mileage. Also included is the original bill of sale, and a cassette tape from the dealership. I have never played to tape, and I assume it tells you about the truck and driving safety..
