Very Rare GMC 2500 4x4 Custom sold by Beach City Motors (ex-Studebaker Dealer) in Manhattan Beach Ca. Originally was a rare low production cab chassis model sold as 4x4, and with factory air. Probably less than 6 of these made in this model with factory air and 4x4. Odometer shows 43,000 which believe is original miles but no documentation. Purchased this about a year ago from car enthusiast that had it sitting since 2007 in his shop. We believe mileage correct due to condition before restoration as very little wear on original pedals, or on entire truck. Truck had a utility box on it when purchased, but removed and put a bed off 69 on it. Bed has slight wear on floor. There was absolutely zero rust in cab/ chassis when sent to get blasted. Motor was pulled and resealed, transmission and transfer case gone through by professional shop and resealed. Again the shop felt truck mileage was accurate based on looking at wear. New clutch, water pump, alternator, starter, points, plugs, plug wires, clutch set were installed by professional mechanics so you will have a great driver without worry of any parts going out. Nice cold air conditioning. Motor runs flawlessly, and truck drives like new 69. New powder coated wheels, and new BF Goodrich tires. New NOS hubcaps (still have original boxes for front). New correct white paint inside and outside. Frame, differentials, underside repainted. Inner fenders powder coated. New weatherstripping, windshield, door felts, etc. Original dash pad in great condition. New correct beautiful dark green/ aqua upholstery (color shown in original brochure), and carpet in truck.Everything works correct except left turn signal does not self cancel. May fix before sold if I get time (probably just loose). You won't be disappointed in this rare truck as the reserve is well below book value, or under any auction price you will pay. I have sold over 9 trucks on ebay with no disappointments.
