My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honsetly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2000 Lexus LS400 sedan. The LS400 is the flagship of the Lexus brand. As I always say, the LS (and SC) 400 is probably one of the most over-built vehicles on the road. When Toyota launched the Lexus brand, they set their sights high and weren't about to screw up thier reputation by making mistakes on their flagship automobile. I am admittedly not a big fan of Japanese cars but I have to hand it to Toyota on this one. The LS400 is one car they got right the first time. The 4.0L V8 is a de-tuned version of a TRD engineered racing engine. The fit and finish is excellent front to back, inside and out. I would rate the exterior of this LS400 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a great looking sedan. It is finished in black over tan and shows very well for its age. The finish has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. The only blemishes worth mentioning are a few chips on the nose of the car, as you can see in the photos. Otherwise, nothing unusual on the exterior for the mileage. The body lines are straight as an arrow. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. The body cladding is all intact and shows well. The original alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of tires with good tread all around. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The headlights show a little fading, which is common at this age and can usually be corrected with minimal effort if you choose to do so. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this Lexus looks. I would rate the interior of this Lexus to also be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, the interior shows very nicely. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets also show well throughout the interior. The leather seats are in great condition and show virtually no wear or age, which indicates that this Lexus has probably spent most of its life in a garage. Both front seats are power operated and heated. The dash and headliner are clean. The wood interior accents also show well and give the spacious interior a rich, warm feel. The power windows, locks, seats, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. The audio system is the original Lexus Premium Sound with CD changer, which sounds excellent. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heater works well and the air conditioner will freeze you out of the car. The trunk is spacious and clean. A full set of floor mats as well as the original owners books are included. Pride in ownership shows throughout this Lexus. Mechanically, this LS400 appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 4.0L V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are excellent. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. The brakes and steering feel good, too. If I'm being picky, you can feel a slight pulsation in the brakes if you stand on them hard from highway speed. Under normal driving and braking, they feel fine. The engine keeps perfect temperature and makes plenty of power. There have been no idiot lights on. I've personally put the last 300 miles on this Lexus with absolutely no issues. This full sized sedan is an absolute joy to drive. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts seemlessly with no issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. This car is as smooth as silk and is a testament to the ridiculous amount of R&D that Lexus put into its flagship car. Fly in and drive this Lexus anywhere. Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honsetly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2000 Lexus LS400 sedan. The LS400 is the flagship of the Lexus brand. As I always say, the LS (and SC) 400 is probably one of the most over-built vehicles on the road. When Toyota launched the Lexus brand, they set their sights high and weren't about to screw up thier reputation by making mistakes on their flagship automobile. I am admittedly not a big fan of Japanese cars but I have to hand it to Toyota on this one. The LS400 is one car they got right the first time. The 4.0L V8 is a de-tuned version of a TRD engineered racing engine. The fit and finish is excellent front to back, inside and out. I would rate the exterior of this LS400 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a great looking sedan. It is finished in black over tan and shows very well for its age. The finish has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. The only blemishes worth mentioning are a few chips on the nose of the car, as you can see in the photos. Otherwise, nothing unusual on the exterior for the mileage. The body lines are straight as an arrow. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. The body cladding is all intact and shows well. The original alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of tires with good tread all around. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The headlights show a little fading, which is common at this age and can usually be corrected with minimal effort if you choose to do so. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this Lexus looks.
I would rate the interior of this Lexus to also be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, the interior shows very nicely. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets also show well throughout the interior. The leather seats are in great condition and show virtually no wear or age, which indicates that this Lexus has probably spent most of its life in a garage. Both front seats are power operated and heated. The dash and headliner are clean. The wood interior accents also show well and give the spacious interior a rich, warm feel. The power windows, locks, seats, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. The audio system is the original Lexus Premium Sound with CD changer, which sounds excellent. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heater works well and the air conditioner will freeze you out of the car. The trunk is spacious and clean. A full set of floor mats as well as the original owners books are included. Pride in ownership shows throughout this Lexus.
Mechanically, this LS400 appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 4.0L V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are excellent. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. The brakes and steering feel good, too. If I'm being picky, you can feel a slight pulsation in the brakes if you stand on them hard from highway speed. Under normal driving and braking, they feel fine. The engine keeps perfect temperature and makes plenty of power. There have been no idiot lights on. I've personally put the last 300 miles on this Lexus with absolutely no issues. This full sized sedan is an absolute joy to drive. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts seemlessly with no issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. This car is as smooth as silk and is a testament to the ridiculous amount of R&D that Lexus put into its flagship car. Fly in and drive this Lexus anywhere. This car comes with a 3 month / 4,500 mile Power Train warranty through CARS that is good nationwide. ***Please see Warranty Information for important additional warranty information and coverage details. Winning Bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us via eBay Message within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. Please do not leave a voicemail on the office phone.
Full payment is due within 7 day of the auction's end. The prefferred method is to bring cash in person to complete the sale. If you are unable to bring cash in person within seven days or will be having the vehicle shipped, we also accept Certified Checks, USPS Postal Money Orders, and wire transfer.
PayPal is not an accepted payment method. This includes Bill Me Later.
We cannot accept credit cards or personal checks.
Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are a PennDOT issuing agent and able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents.
For out-of-state buyers PennDOT offers a 30-day temporary tag (aka In-Transit tag). The cost is $45 and the buyer must show a valid driver's license and current proof of insurance. We can issue them at our office.
