This is car is a 1-family owned, well-maintained project for a mechanic who wants a restoration or a parts car. It was taken off the road at the beginning of 2014, but was a daily driver before that. The engine had a top-end rebuild around 175,000. It's had synthetic or semi-synthetic oil its whole life. The transmission was rebuilt (under warranty) at 80,000. The suspension (springs, struts, shocks) was all new in 2012, including the strut tower brace. I put in heavier rear springs and performance shocks. The driver's seat was replaced in 1999, at around 90,000 miles. As you can see in the pictures, it has some issues but is in decent shape. The paint on the roof and hatch has suffered. The hood and left front quarter were repainted in 2001, after a fender-bender (not my fault). It needs a complete rear brake job (including new lines). The battery is dead. I ran the car once a month for a little while, but eventually the battery wouldn't hold a charge. There are some electrical issues around the car, including a loose ground that takes down the whole dashboard. The A/C worked when I parked the car, but needed occasional recharges. The sunroof leaks and the headliner is worn out. The power windows and locks still work. There is an aftermarket alarm system that still works. I have only one key fob left, and there aren't any more to be found, so I don't use it. The spare is full size. The tires are high-performance, 205/55VR15 summer-only Yokohama Avids. 2 of them are good, 2 are marginal. There was an issue with the alignment on the left front, and with these particular tires, the left front tire rubs the frame rail sharp left turns. The stereo in there now is the 3rd aftermarket unit the car has had. It only works for the rear speakers, but the door speakers in front are high-end aftermarket units. There is a bass amp box in the trunk and it is NOT INCLUDED in the auction, but I would consider selling it separately. There are 4 color-matched 14" wheels with new snow tires available (pictured). They are NOT INCLUDED in this auction, but I will discount them to the buyer, if you are interested. The Buyer is responsible for picking up or shipping the car. I do NOT have the means to tow it or ship it. I do NOT recommend driving it home. PayPal or cash accepted. You must schedule when you can pick up the car.
