I am selling my beautiful car because I need to pay for my son’s college.It is sold "as is" We bought it in March of 2010 from elderly couple in Dana Point in Southern California. I believe that the car has never left California. It has been nonoperational for a few years; we towed it to a mechanic and built a “new car around a steering wheel” It has original California blue plates. The car could be a perfect daily driver or could be used to cruise on weekends. Everything is functioning properly. The bad: main seal is leaking some, front seal is leaking a little , there is a drop of oil on the groung every week or so. The good: All the rust has been removed and new panels have been welded in, after that car was painted the new vinyl roof has been installed. Interior was stripped, mended, dry-cleaned, and reinstalled Rebuilt transmission Rebuilt air conditioner, converted to R-134, cold! New Eldebrock carburetor with electrical chock K&N filter New Pertronix electronic ignition New Retro Sound system with new speakers and AUX connection can play music through your IPhone. New weather-stripping all around. Remote trunk opener New generator and voltage regulator Quartz clock New shocks New brake master cylinder New steering gearbox New fuel pump New gas tank sending unit New power steering pump New starter and flywheel New battery, about one year old Rebuilt front suspension with new springs and ball joints. Rebuilt and resealed rear axil with new rear brakes.New muffler New front aftermarket Wilwood brakes with drilled and slotted rotors. Xenon headlights New 18 inch American Racing wheels and rubber, original wheels and covers come with the car. R sided mirror, very rare option in 1970. This car restoration has not been intended to an original condition. Instead it has been made as a daily driver. Many modern improvements have been made like pointless electronic ignition and quartz clock… One has to decide if it is feasible to drive a car daily when it gives 9 miles to a gallon of a high-octane gasoline, but it is what it is. This car is not brand new, it is 45 years old, but it is functional. The next thing I would have done is the engine, it is running strong now and not consuming oil, but at some point it will need to be rebuilt and all the seals could be replaced, so bottom of the motor will become dry…
