Thank for looking at our classic 1956 3100 pickup. We purchased the truck from a gentleman who owned it since 1993, and he purchased it from a gentleman who brought the truck back from California. It's been a summer toy and never driven in the winter, just stored properly so that the truck would be easy to start and enjoyable in the spring. This truck is a 6 cylinder with a 4-speed on the floor from the factory. Being that it's a 4-speed it has heavy duty transmission for a truck of its time. We took the truck to a mechanical shop that only works on classics. From the minute I brought the truck in until the time I took it out, the mechanic wouldn't stop talking about how clean the undercarriage was. This is what work he performed: - New battery - Brand new master cylinder - Complete tune-up - Changed all fluids on truck, including the rear differential - He clean the engine and underneath of the car from dirt and grime and recoated a lot of the areas - The truck then went to a clean up shop to bring all of the shine back on the paint We think the truck looks absolutely beautiful. We ask that you look at all pictures to form your own opinion. There was a seat cover on the front seat for the last 30 years, and we took it off so that you can see how nice the seat is. This Chevrolet 3100 pickup starts, runs and drives like you would not believe. For a 60 year old vehicle, this is very special. Everything in this vehicle is solid: the fenders, the doors, the tailgate, the hood, the bed and the floors. The miles are not actual, and the title is clean. If you're looking for a clean, unique and classic truck, this truck would be nice to show off and only go up in value as the years go by. This is a no-reserve auction, which means that the last highest bidder when the auction is over will win the car. Every time you bid on the car keep in mind that you have an opportunity to be the owner, so your bid means something. We encourage all bidders to stop out, personally examine the car and drive it for themselves. If you can’t personally make it out to check out this vehicle, simply find a local mechanic to look at the vehicle and give you a personal report on the condition. Ebay also offers a service like this! We need the car paid for within 48 hours, as stated above, either by cash or certified bank check, after the auction is over. The car will be released after the check clears. We would like the car picked up from our lot within 7 days of auction ending.
