This vehicle runs well, 2 owner car. NEW TIRES, alignment, rear brakes/calipers, full tune-up, timing belt, drive belts, water pump done. New fuel pump, exhaust from catalytic converter to muffler. All accessories work as they should. There is MINOR surface rust (no rust through) on rear wheel wells, some scuffs on bumpers , wheels and trim. COLD AC These cars are NOTED for headgasket issues from 1999-2009. Car runs on the HOT SIDE so ASSUME it NEEDS a head gasket. It CAN be driven for short distances of around 10 miles. Lots of questions asked so I will answer: a) Car has NO check engine light on, passed CT emissions less than 30 days ago b) Car idles nice and smooth so no damage to the engine so I am NOT driving it at all c) NO COOLANT and OIL MIX, it is an external leak. What ELSE the vehicle needs: REAR MUFFLER ASSEMBLY will be needed in the next 6-12 months, it is FINE for now and available for $50 here on Ebay. An independent shop will charge you around $1000 to do head gaskets, the muffler installed is around $175. You can have a vehicle GOOD for the next 100K for $2200 or so all in. These cars with similar mileage run around $4000-$5000. My daughter used this car for the last 2 years to commute to and from school and work. Now that she is a full time teacher she wants to get the vehicle she wants (a BMW 320X DRIVE) SO we have no use for this car. It would be a great car for commuting to train station, college or a solid spare vehicle. This car is sold "AS IS, WHERE IS" with no guarantee. There is NO RESERVE on this car and the beginning bid is low enough so that the car is a bargain even if something unforeseen is discovered.
