1964 (?) Gilera Strada. # 101*90705 Restored several years ago with professional help. Professionally painted "Ducati Red." Never titled or registered. Ridden only up and down the driveway for test purposes. Odometer shows 2450 miles. MAY be original, but I can't guarantee it. Inside of the motor showed no wear. Brakes were disassembled and also looked as new. Had been stored in a barn for maybe 40 years, who knows. Brand new Michelin tires, tubes, rims, battery, electronic ignition, new wiring, plug, chain, fresh high grade fasteners. and two new petcocks. Dellorto carb professionally rebuilt by a specialist. Needs correct speedometer and tachometer cables. Tach and speedo work fine with a drill, but cable end fittings not correct. Also needs "Gilera" cover on headlight housing. One tear on the left side of the seat. Runs, but needs some adjustments and fresh gas. Good original Silentium muffler. The vin # was on the engine block. I couldn't find numbers on the frame, but I have no reason to believe that this not the original motor. Very rare Italian motorcycle, especially the Strada model with tach and speedo. These small Italian bikes are becoming very sought after. Ready for Moto Giro. Sold with bill of sale only.
