Up for auction is my 1983 Honda Hondamatic 450. For those that don't know, this is basically an automatic motorcycle that has two speeds made by Honda between 1978 and 1983. It has always been garaged and was used by my two sons to learn how to ride. They've both graduated to bigger bikes. I purchased this from the original owner, female, about twelve years ago. This Honda runs good for a 32 year old bike. Even though it passed NYS inspection this year, it will soon need the rear tire changed, and a brand new tire will be included with the bike, for the new owner to install. It was purchased but we just haven't had the time to take it to get it installed. It has a brand new battery. The front headlight assembly is cracked but is usable and still hold the headlight light. There is a dent on the gas tank which can be seen in the photos, and it has the usual cosmetic issues you would expect on a 32 year old motorcycle. Most of the chrome is still mostly shiny and there is little to no rust. This is a real classic and collectable bike. For the final year of production, 1983, the usual 400 cc engine was increased to 450, and the bike was given a more chopper like stance. I also have the original owner's manual. This bike is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early if it is sold locally.
