I am selling my 1982 Jeep Scrambler CJ8, it is 1 of only 7759 produced in 1982. The CJ8 was only produced from 1981-86 they are becoming very rare. I would love to keep mine but I am moving and do not have any room to store. It has a new 258 crate motor with a little over 3,000 miles on it, runs and sounds like a dream, I also went ahead and had the transmission rebuilt at the same time, it is an automatic which is rare in these jeeps as well. Jeep has POSI rear end and front end, 4x4 with lockout hubs, like new tires all the way around. I drive it almost daily around town with no problems what so ever, it is a 1982 so if you are looking for a perfect show jeep or something that rides like a brand new vehicle this is not it! The shifting column could use a little adjustment, I do have to wiggle that time to time to engage ignition, but it is just a little quirk of the '82 Jeep. The paint job is not perfect,the interior needs a new middle console lid, no rips or tears in the bucket seats, has tow package just used that in the parade, no off-roading has been done with it, and non smoker. No surface rust anywhere on body, the previous owner did have a small spot in the drivers floorboard patched.
