First off, full disclosure, this vehicle has major frame rust in the right front (passenger) torque box and right front frame horn area. The rust has spread into the area of the right front lower control arm rear attaching bracket. This car will need major frame repair or frame replacement prior to using as everyday transportation. Looks like a combination of the A/C condensation dripping onto the frame, short trips, a bit of road salt over the years and the heat from the cat converter combined to rot out this area of the frame. It is a shame this happened as the rest of the car is in really great condition. It was owned by a 91 year old lady from our church (really), bought new, always serviced at the Ford Dealer (why they never mentioned the damage is a mystery) always garaged and has only 78,189 original miles. The car drives like a new car even with the frame. Everything works as it should. Wheels and tires in beautiful shape. Some minor rust on the rear fender lips, interior in great shape, overall a really nice car. Would make a great donor for a 4.6L/4R70W project, Engine and trans run and shift flawlessly, the engine has the updated intake with the aluminum crossover. Best thing about buying the whole car is you can swap the engine, trans and OBDII harness out of a running, driving car. You know what you have. Clean, clear Michigan title in my name.
