Vehicle Detail
This 1967 Jeep CJ was purchased 18 months ago from California to use at my home in Sedona, AZ. I bought it to explore Northern Arizona's many Jeep trails and scenic back roads, but it is way too nice and much to powerful for me to take out on trails. Hence, I have only driven it to the store, gym, etc, maybe once a month. It attracts a lot of attention every time I go out with it, but it is not what I need for the trails. This is easily the nicest, rust free classic that I have ever owned. It has spent its entire life garaged in the Southwest. According to the previous owner, it was built in the late '70's starting with a perfectly rust free and damage free California Jeep . All parts used were period correct and include: '67 327 L79 Corvette Engine rated at 325 HP Carter 4 barrel AFB carburetor 2" body lift & 4" suspension lift '67 Corvette Chrome Tilt Steering Column Hurst shifter 2 years ago it underwent a restoration/updating consisting of: Freshly painted in Rally Red (1967 Corvette paint code 974) Stainless Headers/Muffler, balanced for proper back pressure (not too loud) Carburetor was rebuilt New interior - Upholstery/Carpets Dakota Digital instruments and LED dash switches Armstrong Treadloc 32 x 11.5 15LT tires Custom roll bar designed to accommodate a hard top New Rugged Ridge Bikini Top Digital tail/running lights New Electric Fuel Pump New Warn Locking Hubs I recently (July 2015) installed a brand new battery and had a lube/oil/filter service done. Clutch, brakes and suspension are all well maintained and in excellent condition. All lights including the dome light work. The air/fuel mixture was adjusted for its current location at 5000 feet and runs perfect. Buyer may need to adjust jets, depending on the altitude. Items that need attention: 2" crack in the front passenger fender lip, the only damage on this body Passenger wiper is not working, could be wiring or the motor itself Transfer case leaks a little after long drives, needs seals soon Buyer is required to make payment in full within 72 hours of auction close by bank wire, cashiers check or USPS Money Order. Title is free and clear and will be sent overnight immediately upon receipt of payment. I may be able to recommend shipping options, as I am retired from the transportation business and have many reliable resources. Just ask me if you need help.
