Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a gorgeous 2001 Mercedes Benz S430 with just 93k original miles. Anyone who knows me will tell you that I am a huge Mercedes Benz fan. I personally feel that they are the best designed, best built and longest lasting automobiles on the road. My personal daily driver is an 01 S55 AMG. I would rate the exterior of this Merc to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a gorgeous S430. It is finished in a rare medium blue over light gray with dark tinted windows and 18" chrome wheels. The finish has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. As with any older car, please expect a few imperfections and blemishes commensurate with age and mileage. Save for a few stone chips on the nose, there really isn't anything to complain about on the exterior. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. Sometimes the drivers door soft close doesn't work...but the soft close works on the other doors and trunk. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The body looks to be completely rust free, which is very unusual as these W220's begin to age. The 18" chrome alloys really make the car. They show well and are wrapped in a nice set of Goodyear Eagle RS-A's with average tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how nice this Mercedes looks. I would rate the interior of this Mercedes S430 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The light gray interior contrasts nicely against the medium blue exterior. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets show well throughout the interior. The dash and headliner are clean, too. The light wood accents are unusual to find (most W220's have the darker wood) and really make the interior look great. The leather seats show well and are comfortable. Both front seats are power operated. The power windows, mirrors, sunroof, seats and central locks all work properly. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. It offers independent setting for the driver and passenger. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. This S430 also has the full rear shades option. All three shades show well, are fully intact and raise and lower easily. The trunk is spacious and clean. Pride in ownership shows throughout this Mercedes-Benz. Mechanically, this S430 appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 4.3L V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are excellent. The AirMatic suspension works properly and rides just like a W220 should ride. The steering and brakes feel good, too. The only warnings on are for the mirror turn signals being out. This is common, my S55 does this as well. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. You can hear a little rattle in the exhaust, which is probably a loose heat shield. It's not bad, you can just hear it once in a while. The five speed automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts perfectly. I've personally put that last 150+ miles on this car and it is an absolute pleasure to drive. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. If you're looking for a nice, low mile S-Class and don't want to blow a fortune on a super low mile granny mobile, this S430 definitely deserves your consideration. Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a gorgeous 2001 Mercedes Benz S430 with just 93k original miles. Anyone who knows me will tell you that I am a huge Mercedes Benz fan. I personally feel that they are the best designed, best built and longest lasting automobiles on the road. My personal daily driver is an 01 S55 AMG. I would rate the exterior of this Merc to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a gorgeous S430. It is finished in a rare medium blue over light gray with dark tinted windows and 18" chrome wheels. The finish has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. As with any older car, please expect a few imperfections and blemishes commensurate with age and mileage. Save for a few stone chips on the nose, there really isn't anything to complain about on the exterior. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. Sometimes the drivers door soft close doesn't work...but the soft close works on the other doors and trunk. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The body looks to be completely rust free, which is very unusual as these W220's begin to age. The 18" chrome alloys really make the car. They show well and are wrapped in a nice set of Goodyear Eagle RS-A's with average tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how nice this Mercedes looks.
I would rate the interior of this Mercedes S430 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The light gray interior contrasts nicely against the medium blue exterior. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets show well throughout the interior. The dash and headliner are clean, too. The light wood accents are unusual to find (most W220's have the darker wood) and really make the interior look great. The leather seats show well and are comfortable. Both front seats are power operated. The power windows, mirrors, sunroof, seats and central locks all work properly. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. It offers independent setting for the driver and passenger. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. This S430 also has the full rear shades option. All three shades show well, are fully intact and raise and lower easily. The trunk is spacious and clean. Pride in ownership shows throughout this Mercedes-Benz.
Mechanically, this S430 appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 4.3L V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are excellent. The AirMatic suspension works properly and rides just like a W220 should ride. The steering and brakes feel good, too. The only warnings on are for the mirror turn signals being out. This is common, my S55 does this as well. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. You can hear a little rattle in the exhaust, which is probably a loose heat shield. It's not bad, you can just hear it once in a while. The five speed automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts perfectly. I've personally put that last 150+ miles on this car and it is an absolute pleasure to drive. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. If you're looking for a nice, low mile S-Class and don't want to blow a fortune on a super low mile granny mobile, this S430 definitely deserves your consideration. Winning Bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us via eBay Message within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. Please do not leave a voicemail on the office phone.
Full payment is due within 7 day of the auction's end. The prefferred method is to bring cash in person to complete the sale. If you are unable to bring cash in person within seven days or will be having the vehicle shipped, we also accept Certified Checks, USPS Postal Money Orders, and wire transfer.
PayPal is not an accepted payment method. This includes Bill Me Later.
We cannot accept credit cards or personal checks.
Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are a PennDOT issuing agent and able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents.
For out-of-state buyers PennDOT offers a 30-day temporary tag (aka In-Transit tag). The cost is $45 and the buyer must show a valid driver's license and current proof of insurance. We can issue them at our office.
