If you're looking to buy one of the the nicest driving, looking and performing Classic Jeep CJ 5 on this planet "Read On". Jeep is also Smog Exempt due to it's age of 42 year's old. I have well over 25,000 invested in the current build of this Classic Jeep CJ. = Cost of Jeep and all part's and labor to make this jeep what you see today. Jeep was sanded to metal inside and out - No rust none. Body and floor pans look outstanding = See photo's and Video. Body then primed and painted in Classic Chevy Orange. Jeep painted both inside and out. People love this Jeep and the paint color is awesome. I'm over 50 so I can still say awesome. New OEM jeep seats installed, New OEM Jeep retract seat belt's installed. New Jeep fender flair's installed, Full Roll Cage Installed, New wipers and bladed installed, New locking hood latch installed, New BF Goodrich 33 tall 21.5 wide A/T tire's installed on 15 inch by 10 inch wide chrome rim's. Due the math that's over 4 feet of tire rubber on the ground. New steering box and steering part's installed. This Jeep drives outstanding - no free play in steering box - no lane drift when driving. You can drive the interstate with one hand. New fuel tank and sending unit installed, New wiring installed front to rear. You get the idea, every thing was rebuilt - repaired - replaced - re painted - restored to make it like new. Under 5,000 driven miles on proven - reliable running gear.  Jeep look's outstanding inside and out. ----  Now for the performance part that power's  it down the road. The motor was updated to a early, mid 70 - 350 cubic inch small block Chevy. Motor was fitted with aluminum intake. 4 bbl carb with elect choke, Headers with Duel exhaust that sounds outstanding!  MSD spark box AL6  - 8mm wire's. The motor in this Jeep is the same motor you will find in many of the early Classic Chevy muscle Car's. Motor has more power and performance than most could ever use or need. But more power is always better than less in my option. The motor is backed by a car " Saginaw 4 Speed manual transmission". Again the same 4 speed you will find in most early classic muscle car's and hot rod's of the late 60 early 70. Advance adapter was used to mate everything correct in place. So in a nut shell when driving this Jeep on the street in 2 wheel drive your driving a classic street rod/ muscle car.  This Jeep performs and shift's like a early Classic Camaro , Chevelle. Nova and so on. It's FUN to drive for sure!  You drive this jeep " Not it drive you". I have owned many classic CJ 5 and CJ 7 over the past 40 years's great vehicles. But i'm not a big fan of the stock amc 304 v8 jeep motor or the 3 speed truck /bus transmission with granny low. They shift like a stick in jello - They have a lot of linkage slop and down shift like a log truck or bus. They shift slow and down shift with slop! So this Jeep was built with a upgraded Saginaw 4 speed making this Jeep "fun to shift" and a joy to drive. It shift's and down shift's very fast and very crisp - no slop in linkage. The Saginaw 4 speed was fitted with new Hurst "short throw linkage" shift's outstanding!  ---- Now for the 4 wheel drive.  All the 4 wheel drive running gear under this Jeep is in like new working order. Jeep is fitted with a Dana 20 - 4 wheel drive transfer case. Shift's in and out of 4 wheel drive nice and easy. The Front end and Rear end both fitted with Dana also. Has Locking hub's on front if going off road. This Jeep was not built to be a mud truck or hard corp rock crawler as you caaaan see from the photo's. It was just restored and to nice to dent up or scratch up. With that said it will 4 wheel drive with the best of them. Jeep fitted with 4'10 gear's front and rear. Good gearing if going Off Road - and still good gearing for city driving on the street's. I drive it every day if the weather is nice. You can also drive this Jeep on the interstate or highway's with the 4'10 gears. The larger 33 tall tire's and 4 speed will also let you run the interstate at highway speed's and help keep the RPM's down. The V8 power with 33 tall tires and the 4 speed combo will get it done On or Off road. I just drove Jeep on a 4 hour road trip around the Las Vegas area. Both city, street and highway driving and it ran perfect "no issue's none". Jeep run's 180 deg temp at 40 to 50 lb oil presser and 12.9 volt's all day long in the hot summer Las Vegas weather. I'm selling a turn key - reliable - get in and go Classic Jeep CJ.  It's not a project in the work's - It's not a dented up -  rusted out - abused vehicle. No leak's in this jeep none!  It's one of the nicest  looking - driving - performing - sounding - Classic CJ you will ever see driving the roadway's. Jeep is garaged in Las Vegas, Nevada.  Clear Nevada title to buyer when paid in full. Factory original Vin number and Factory original Vin plate still on Jeep, as it should be. Jeep heater work's great will cook you out !  BUT I also installed a shut off valve between motor and heater so you can keep the hot water from the motor from reaching the heater box if heat inside is not needed.
