This is a project car, this is a major project. This project is not for the faint of heart. If your wife or girlfriend or if both of them have the name 'DEBBIE' and/or your name is Lee or your girlfriend's name is Lee and your name is Debbie then this is definitely your lucky day!!! My son said that I needed to vac this car out and clean it up before listing it.......and normally I would however, my HAZMAT SUIT is at the cleaners so I am unable to perform that task......darn it anyway. This 63 SS is a pretty good foundation from which to start. What you see is what you get. This is a major project car. It is going to need a complete restoration/restification, including but not limited to, paint and body work, interior re-upholstered, engine, transmission and possibly rear axle need to be rebuilt, brakes, cooling system, wiring/electrical/lights, front and rear suspension systems, etc... Hopefully you get the idea, it needs complete restoration The good: It has a 1962 327 motor with the suffix code stamp of RB, it has double hump heads 461 casting (they have been taken off and are in the trunk, the date codes match the 62 327 in the engine bay). The transmission is a power glide and is still installed, I'm not sure if all of the linkage is there. The exhaust manifolds are still there and they look like 63 pieces. Not much of the exhaust pipes are still under the car. The rear axle looks like the original p-series drop out, I don't know the gear ratio or if it is a posi-traction. Good color combination Metallic Blue with Blue interior. The exterior body sheetmetal is pretty clean and straight, it has a few small rust spots in the usual places. Most of the SS side trim is still on the car, as well as, the front and rear window trim, and the grille, rear cove trim and the bumpers also. The glass all there and crack free, except for the windshield. The interior looks complete except for the front half of the console. The rest including the bucket seats, floor shift steering column, back seat, instrument cluster and dash assembly, heater box, door panels, headliner, sunvisors, etc.. are still in the car The bad: It needs a complete restoration, the car has been sitting in a barn/lean-to for at least 25 years. The floor pans are not terribly rusted out and the trunk floor has heavy scale and rust. There are mouse droppings on the floors and seats and various other places, it is included free of charge. What you see is what you get. I do not have any other parts for the car. I do not know where the original engine is. The terms: This car is sold as is, where is. No warranties are given or implied. I have not done a complete inspection of the car. I loaded it up and brought it to my shop and unloaded it, if you want to come and crawl all over it. Paperwork has been submitted to the State of Confusion Kansas for a title. This car is being Sold & Delivered with a Bill of Sale with the intent of being able to deliver a negotiable Kansas title within 45 days from the date of sale.
