Vehicle Detail

This Missouri based superbee was built in StLouis, went to college in missouri and rolled the earth until 1983 when it was stored away intermittently for the rest of its years until now. Wearing it's original paint, with it's original interior and being complete down to every nut and bolt, it is ready for someone to restore it. What should make it an attractive candidate for this, is the fact that it is LL1 turquoise 4 speed coupe with black interior, only one of a few known to be around. Dash plate matches the fender tag, matches the trans, matches the core support, and I didn't want to molest the car but I did find a rough, but correct build sheet behind the rear seat. I wouldn't doubt there is another build sheet hiding somewhere else. I don't know if the engine is the correct matching 383 and I doubt it is as it has a two barrel manifold and carb on it, though it does have hp exhaust manifolds and looks like it belongs there... It needs a restoration, does NOT run and drive, and it rolls nicely. If you are not familiar with the restoration of a mopar b body this still wouldn't be a bad candidate to start with. If you are familiar with them you will know that this is an excellent head start of a restoration. All of the stainless trim, windows, and majority of the sheet metal is in excellent condition. Unfortunately the trunk lid was damaged long ago and proceeded to rust so it will need a trunk lid. Somehow it still shuts and latches nicely-and still wears its stripes. It will need a trunk floor and a drivers floor patch. Frame rails are excellent as are the torsion bar mounts. There is some corrosion on the outer corners of the front subframe like where you would place a jack if you were lifting it. Quarters need skinned or just lower sections. Both doors shut with a nice click and the rubbers and felts are all there and decent. Glass is all original and uncracked. Hopefully the pics will answer most all questions, this car would not take much to get driving as is, but it really needs to undergo a special resto. In the engine bay pics it may look as if the heater box is missing but it was residing in the trunk and is complete. Not sure why removed. Glove box liner is still in place and the under dash wiring is in nice shape. Four speed b body coupes are getting more scarce by the day, and Dodge's answer to the Roadrunner lives on in this unusual example. 0 feedback bidders must contact me prior to bidding please. Serious bidders please ask questions prior to bidding, instead of sitting in front of the computer, glassy eyed, late at night bidding outside your means then wanting to retract because you didn't check with your wife prior to placing a bid.
