Thank you for looking at our 1979 Fiat 2000 Spider Convertible. This car was sold at Barrett-Jackson Auto Auction in 2004 to an older gentleman who just used it around town to get ice cream. The car was purchased with 91,000 miles. It presently has 94,063 miles, and so in 11 years there were only 3,000 more miles put on the car. We have receipts for approximately $5,000 worth of work done to the car, which includes: rebuilding engine, transmission and front end, along with new tires, and a convertible top, (which is not even part of the receipts). There was an article in the Wall Street Journal publicizing the sale of this Fiat. It was the first car to be sold as a bottom-feeding category. We have the article that comes with the car, including all of the receipts and two auction stickers from Barrett-Jackson. The little red car really starts and runs well, as it should since everything is new. The body and underneath of the vehicle is in great shape, as you can see in the pictures. The interior is very nice, and we would like to mention that there is a crack on the dash that can be seen in the pictures. We’re very proud to offer for sale this Fiat Spider Convertible with all its great history. We’d also like to mention Barrett-Jackson did not certify the miles on the vehicle but the title is clean and clear. Please take the time, if you can, and take it for a short test drive. Buyer has the opportunity to check the car out for 7 days. Or, you could have a local company come out and check it out for you. eBay also offers this service, giving a full inspection of the vehicle from bumper to bumper. I would like the car paid for within 3 days, either by cash or wire transfer. I’d also like the car picked up within 7 days from sale ending because I don’t want to be responsible for holding your car.
