Not bad for my 1st ever EBAY Listing! * RARE * 1966 Chevrolet K10 4x4 Straight six, Manual Transmission STEPSIDE - * RARE* **** Call me with any questions:682-238-8044.....1966 Chevy k10 Factory 4X4 Submitted for your approval is a 1966 Chevy K10 factory 4X4 truck with it's original drivetrain. FYI an ORIGINAL Williston ND, K10 model truck with it's ORIGINAL straight 6 drivetrain is a rare find indeed.Auction is set for 10 days Body internal & external features include: Original Omaha orange GM code paint with some surface patina from age. 15" inch tires which all hold air with matching rims. Rock solid/ light rust in places, see pictures. Doors, rockers, & cab corners & pretty much the entire truck surface pictured. No bondo/filler that I could find. I have left this 49 year old classic truck EXACTLY as I bought. . I cleaned and dusted unit with my air compressor. Cleaned surface with warm soapy water. Removed old interior carpet to show EXACT floorboard condition. Rubbed paint restoration fluid on the original exterior paint surface & installed a new saddle blanket bench seat cover & that's about it externally speaking. Call me with any questions:682-238-8044.......Mechanical features include: straight 6.. (4) speed manual transmission with a serious compound low 1st gear. Clutch is equally strong with plenty of pressure. Brakes work good with NO leaks & plenty of pressure when brake pedal is pressed. Emergency brake cable is working. Original manual locking hubs. Fresh mechanical service was preformed on 07/2015 included the following: service completed, new oil, cleaned carb, choke works great, brakes cleaned and bled. FYI: She presently runs, shifts, & stops pretty darn good for a 49 year old classic truck. Absolute beast of a truck & will probably crawl up any significant grade with both it's original low gearing & optional high ratio rear end. Plan on going about 50-55 MPH at top speed. Please note: This OG truck shows some honest wear with typical dings & dents from it's 49 years of service. rust in areas, the doors hinges are great. Body is straight, some light bumps, see picturs.Doors & hood are perfectly aligned pictured & open & shut smoothly with NO additional effort. I assume this vintage truck will need plenty of additional TLC so be aware of these above stated facts before bidding. I'm sure I missed something or another so please ask ALL questions before you bid. NADA low blue book @ $9,920. Medium blue book @ $18,050. High blue book $20,000. 95% of these vintage K series trucks offered are beat up, hacked up, rusted out, or heavily restored/modified with high price points based on recent completed eBay auctions. Obviously this particular K10 4X4 unit is both an excellent restoration candidate for a Chevy collector or even a classic daily driver on your ranch or farm. I did have someone ask about the truck bed. The truck bed outside perimeter is excellent as you see in the pictures. The floor is wood and the cross members in bottom of bed are real rusty and need replacing. The truck does run and drive fine. You will need to put in plugs, adjust points etc. I did not touch any of this. I did put in a simple fuel pump. Oil has been changed. If you were the guy on the phone asking about the second truck I have listed I would consider a package/bundle deal. The Chevrolet Apache is tried and does not have a title. Lastly, I could transport the 1966 K10 to Minneapolis if this helps in transportation. Our family is headed to Mall of America in couple of weeks and could get the truck to Minneapolis.
