2001 Volkswagen Beetle. 109,764 miles. Runs and drives once jump started, but overheats and occasionally the oil light comes on. Leaks oil and coolant. Engine runs but sounds like there is a lot of noise in the top end, sounds like a diesel but it is not. I have a short video of it running so you can hear for yourself, message me if you would like to hear it.This probably needs a motor replacement unless you are handy with VW's. Check engine light is on for code P0102 (mass airflow related), and EPC light also. Clutch operates smoothly and transmission shifts through all 5 gears and reverse fine. The sunroof operates as it should. Please view photos for condition of the body, the paint is faded and the driver's mirror glass is cracked. There is rust of the drivers door, and the door hinge was welded back on at some point. There are dents and scratches. Tires have good tread, rims are scuffed as seen. Leather interior is in average condition for the year with heated seats, could use a good cleaning. Full size spare tire included, but the jack was nowhere to be found. Please look at the photos and ask questions if need be. There should be no surprises with this car. This is a great project car, with a new motor (or motor work) and a little love, you will have a great Beetle to enjoy! Clean title in hand. Otherwise, I will be happy to work with your shipper. but this car is stored offsite so I need 24-48 hours advanced notice. This car must be towed, it is not roadworthy due to overheating. If the vehicle is left here longer than the 7 days without other arraignments made, it will be subject to a $20 per day storage fee. The mileage may vary slightly due to the vehicle being test driven throughout the auction. The winning bid is the final price, there are no deductions after the fact; starting bids on all NO RESERVE AUCTIONS are $200, if you choose to bid anything above and beyond that, that is your decision.
