1960 BUICK ELECTRA 2 door hardtop. This is definitely a 'project' car.. Most of these rare beautys have probally been crushed,, The body is in primer and has been off the frame and frame in very good shape. Frame has been sandblasted and painted, looks good. Had a lot of work done to floorboards and support brackets since they were pretty much gone and rusty, not by professional but seems decent and strong., I believe I have almost all the chrome mouldings and trim that go with it?? might be a few pieces missing, the trunk has a lot of stuff in it. Has both bumpers, pretty good shape . The windshield and rear glass pretty good shape, at least no cracks.. Driver door glass missing bottom chrome piece, but glass itself good. Both rear quarter windows have a small crack at extreme corner of each glass.. The upholstery has been redone, turned out pretty good as per pictures. Has new carpet installed.. Obtained new gas tank for it, never got around to putting in place.. Installed a tach and gages for monitoring engine function. All new upper and lower ball joints. Has new air shocks on rear and new original type shocks on front.. The rear end and whole front end has been sandblasted and repainted.. The 364 engine has been boiled out with new cam bearings and freeze plugs, has been overhauled with new rod and main bearings, and rings. new camshaft and lifters . It starts up and sounds good thru the original dual exhaust and cherry bomb mufflers. The Dynaflow transmission does have problems. It will barely move on its own and makes abnormal noises, needs rebuild for sure... This was as far as I got with it.. Been sitting a couple years now and needs a new home and someone with the expertise to finish her. Never got around to title it but will give bill of sale to lucky owner..
