Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 2002 Mercedes-Benz CLK 430 with just 132k miles. I have always had a soft spot for Mercedes coupes...it's just something about them. They have always been beautiful automobiles. I would rate the exterior of this CLK 430 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a beautiful Merc. It is finished in brilliant silver over black and looks great. The finish has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. As with any older vehicle, please expect to find a few small imperfections and blemishes commensurate with age and mileage. The only negatives worth noting on the exterior of this car (and these are the only thing keeping it from earning an "above average" rating) is a crack in the left side skirt and the center portion being removed from the front lower air dam. Otherwise, this coupe gets very high marks for its appearance. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The xenon HID headlights do an excellent job at lighting up the road in front of you. The 18" AMG Sport alloy wheels look great and give an aggressive look to this coupe. The tires show average tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this CLK looks inside and out. I would rate the interior of this CLK 430 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, the interior shows well and looks to have been nicely cared for. The dark wood veneers look amazing against the black interior. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets are thick and full looking throughout the interior. The leather seats are deeply bolstered and comfortable. As is the case with nearly every older CLK, the leather is pulling a little at the top of where the side bolster is sewn in. The dash and headliner are clean. The power windows, locks, seats, mirrors and sunroof all appear to be working properly. The power rear sunshade also raises and lowers smoothly, as it should. The audio system is original and has a CD changer in the trunk. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heater works well. The air conditioner will need charged or serviced as it does not blow cold air. The trunk is spacious and clean. A full set of books and manuals are included. Mechanically, this CLK 430 appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 4.3L V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are excellent. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. The steering and brakes feel good, too. There is sometimes a light vibration in the wheel at around 70mph...but it's not terrible. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. These are very, very quick cars. The 275hp V8 makes plenty of power and puts it to the ground via a five speed automatic transmission that engages smoothly and shifts perfectly. These are very aggressive cars and get you in quite a bit of trouble if you don't watch your right foot. The check engine light is on in this car. The codes are "main cat efficiency below threashold bank 1 and bank 2". I've not done any further diagnostic work other than pulling the codes. I've owned several of these cars and can tell you that this one drives like it should. The engine makes plenty of power and pulls hard right up to redline. There are no physical indications of a clogged cat. I'm sure there are a few things that could throw those codes. You can start this car up and drive absolutely anywhere with complete confidence. I've personally put the last 100 miles on this car with absolutely no issues. If you're looking for a clean CLK with low miles, this car definitely deserves your consideration. Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 2002 Mercedes-Benz CLK 430 with just 132k miles. I have always had a soft spot for Mercedes coupes...it's just something about them. They have always been beautiful automobiles. I would rate the exterior of this CLK 430 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a beautiful Merc. It is finished in brilliant silver over black and looks great. The finish has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. As with any older vehicle, please expect to find a few small imperfections and blemishes commensurate with age and mileage. The only negatives worth noting on the exterior of this car (and these are the only thing keeping it from earning an "above average" rating) is a crack in the left side skirt and the center portion being removed from the front lower air dam. Otherwise, this coupe gets very high marks for its appearance. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The xenon HID headlights do an excellent job at lighting up the road in front of you. The 18" AMG Sport alloy wheels look great and give an aggressive look to this coupe. The tires show average tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this CLK looks inside and out.
I would rate the interior of this CLK 430 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, the interior shows well and looks to have been nicely cared for. The dark wood veneers look amazing against the black interior. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets are thick and full looking throughout the interior. The leather seats are deeply bolstered and comfortable. As is the case with nearly every older CLK, the leather is pulling a little at the top of where the side bolster is sewn in. The dash and headliner are clean. The power windows, locks, seats, mirrors and sunroof all appear to be working properly. The power rear sunshade also raises and lowers smoothly, as it should. The audio system is original and has a CD changer in the trunk. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heater works well. The air conditioner will need charged or serviced as it does not blow cold air. The trunk is spacious and clean. A full set of books and manuals are included.
Mechanically, this CLK 430 appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 4.3L V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are excellent. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. The steering and brakes feel good, too. There is sometimes a light vibration in the wheel at around 70mph...but it's not terrible. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. These are very, very quick cars. The 275hp V8 makes plenty of power and puts it to the ground via a five speed automatic transmission that engages smoothly and shifts perfectly. These are very aggressive cars and get you in quite a bit of trouble if you don't watch your right foot. The check engine light is on in this car. The codes are "main cat efficiency below threashold bank 1 and bank 2". I've not done any further diagnostic work other than pulling the codes. I've owned several of these cars and can tell you that this one drives like it should. The engine makes plenty of power and pulls hard right up to redline. There are no physical indications of a clogged cat. I'm sure there are a few things that could throw those codes. You can start this car up and drive absolutely anywhere with complete confidence. I've personally put the last 100 miles on this car with absolutely no issues. If you're looking for a clean CLK with low miles, this car definitely deserves your consideration. If you are unable to bring cash in person within seven days or will be having the vehicle shipped, we also accept Certified Checks, USPS Postal Money Orders, and wire transfer.

We cannot accept credit cards or personal checks.
Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are a PennDOT issuing agent and able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents.
For out-of-state buyers PennDOT offers a 30-day temporary tag (aka In-Transit tag). The cost is $45 and the buyer must show a valid driver's license and current proof of insurance. We can issue them at our office.
