For sale is a 1998 Honda CBR 660cc F3 sport bike. The battery and fuel pump are brand new. Front tire has less than 1000 miles on it. I have owned this bike for six years. There are a few scrapes here and there - obviously a previous owner dropped it. I have never laid it down. Both plastic side covers have end pieces that are cracked but repaired. I have a clear title. The bike has been sitting too long and will not start and run. The bike starts and runs if starter fluid is sprayed into the intakes. A sure sign the ignition is fine and the fuel flow is plugged inside the carburetors; the needle/jets are very likely gummed up. I am trying carburetors cleaning spray to avoid carb removal, but I may have to take apart and clean. If I get the bike to start and run smoothly, the price will increase. The seat, tank, air cleaner and rear side covers are currently removed for engine inspection; this can be seen in photos #8 & #9. Photo #10 is a closeup of the four carb air intakes. I will leave the parts removed so the successful bidder can see and hear the bike run this way. Don't panic - I can easily re-assemble everything in 10 minutes. Bike rides awesome. I have had it to 125 mph - and it corners as you would expect of a sport bike. Red full face helmet that matches the bike is included. Can deliver - distance and cost negotiable.
