Vehicle Detail
I am putting up for auction my 750F after finally finding and purchasing a CBX. I told myself I would never sell this bike but I cannot afford both. I purchased this bike 15 years ago from the original owner with just 9700 miles on it out of Minnesota. I have put the last 20,000 miles on myself. The motorcycle is in fantastic condition and I am very proud of how well I have kept it. Five years ago I installed NOS bodywork(except front fender) and brand new factory exhaust that I had purchased when I first got the bike. Consequently, the paint and decals and chrome all look brand new. Below is a list of recent maintenance. New Firestone tires New Chain and sprockets CBR600F2 coils and wires New O-Ring Carb kit from Randakks CycleShakk Valve clearance set, timing chains adjusted New regulater/rectifier New Rotor New Stator New battery Bike uses no oil, the clutch is perfect, gauges, headlight, blinkers, taillights all work perfectly. Brakes are perfect. Fork tubes are perfect condition and don't leak. The original shocks are still working great and are leak free. The seat is still perfect with no tears, or signs of wanting to tear, it is still soft and flexible. Bike starts great, sounds great, no odd noises or rattles. Has original tool set, Factory Honda shop manual. The bike has the following flaws right now... The Nuetral bulb on the instrument cluster is burned out. There is a 1 inch crack in the lower part of the left sidecover but I have a perfect NOS sidecover in its bag that will go with the bike to replace it. Exhaust has two dimples next to the left footpeg when another bikes bar end and brake lever hit it when it tipped into it. The chrome is not cracked or split and shows no signs of damage. One of the replaceable exhaust headers has a scrape on the very bottom out of sight but is structurally sound. There is some fading of the front brake reservoir cover. The very corner of two head fins are chipped off. The bike isn't charging like it should and I was in the middle of trying to solve the issue when I purchased my CBX. I suspect the rotor is at fault, reading only 3.8 OHMs. It drains the battery when riding and wants to cut out at high RPM when the batterys not 100% charged. The clutch cover gasket leaks, and I have a new one that goes with the bike. The left side ignition cover gasket leaks, I have one of those too that is included. Also, another set of CBR600F2 coils and wires are included along with some other odds and ends parts. The bike needs to be picked up and paid for before leaving my home. I am located in Valley City ND right off Interstate 94. Please feel free to email me for more pictures of something or if you have any questions. You can also call me at 701-840-0343. Thank you for looking and the new owner will not be disappointed in the condition of this 35 year old motorcycle.
