1955 Chevrolet Bel Air Hardtop, 350, 4 speed. Great running and driving car that can be enjoyed as is or is the perfect platform for a nut and bolt restoration for the perfectionist. Car is originally a 6 cylinder car, is a real 1037D Sport Coupe body, paint code 612: India Ivory/Regal Turquoise, interior trim code 522: Beige/Turquoise. Mechanicals are in good shape and it is a reliable driver. Brand new Towel City cheater slicks and 27" tall front runner tires. Carbs have been refurbished with many new parts, new velocity stack air cleaners and new plugs and wires. Engine runs good and has a nice sounding lopey cam. Muncie 4 speed transmission is fresh as well. Interior and exterior trim is all there and in good shape, super nice seat covers done recently. The paint on the car shows its age with nice nostalgic patina, the body is not perfect, but shows well and gets lots of attention. Trunk floor is very solid, front and rear floors are pretty good, it needs some attention to the inner rockers, lower quarters could be grafted in for perfection, rear splash aprons and some rear outer floor work (detailed in pics). The car also includes a matching, uncut hood that is missing the heat shield divider panel. This is a true reliable, running and driving 55 hardtop that is ready a new owner to enjoy!
