2000 Triumph Thunderbird Adventurer: Rare, hard to find model in excellent condition. I have owned this bike for 4 years, and during my ownership have sorted out several problems inherited from previous owner. When I got the bike it would not idle for any length of time. Ran well, but quit running at idle. After replacing just about everything, cleaning fuel system, replacing a coil, and finally buying and installing a new programmable CPU (laptop tunable for extra HP if desired), we found the culprit to be a faulty crankshaft sensor. Problem solved, runs like a sewing machine now! The 885cc Triple engine has a reputation for durability and reliability. I owned one of these early T-Birds several years ago and regretted selling it because it was such a nice riding bike. (Thus the reason for buying this one) Health problems now force me to turn the page on my motorcycle riding days.
