My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1999 Audi A4 2.8L Quattro with the desirable manual transmission. I would rate the exterior of this Audi to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking sedan. It is finished in black and looks good. The finish has a deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. As with any older vehicle, please expect to find a few scrapes and other imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. On the left side, the lower plastic moldings are missing, which is common. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels are wrapped in a nice set of rubber with deep tread all around. Please take the time to check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this Audi looks. I would also rate the interior of this Audi to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The most noteworthy thing about this car is the S4 interior. While the seats do show some wear, an S4 interior is probably one of the best interiors you can get. The deeply bolstered seats are power operated and heated. They hold you tightly in place during spirited driving. The door cards do show some wear but are presentable for the age of the vehicle. The carpets show well for their age, too. The dash and headliner are clean...although the headliner is beginning to sag a little in the rear. The power windows, locks, seats, sunroof and mirrors work properly. The audio system is original and sounds good. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heater works properly but the air conditioner will need charged or serviced as it does not blow cold. The trunk is spacious and clean. Mechanically, this Audi appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.8L engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good for an older car. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. The brakes and steering feel good, too. The most noteworthy thing about this Audi is that is has a brand new Sach's clutch. When I got this A4, the clutch was absolutely shot...probably the original. If you know these cars, you know what is involved in doing a clutch in this car. The clutch job is worth almost as much as the car itself. My intention was to do the timing belt and water pump while the engine was already out. Upon removal of the right timing cover, it is obvious that the belt has already been done...which was a pleasant surprise. It goes without saying that the clutch engages smoothly and the transmission shifts perfectly. You'll need to finish the break in miles on the clutch as I am not able to put that many miles on it. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. The only thing I noticed while my guy had it apart is that the one right tie rod end should be replaced. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. A 2.8L A4 Quattro with a manual transmission is one of the most capable and indesctuctible vehicles available. With this specific car having a brand new clutch and a newer timing belt, this Audi should be good to go for years and years and years of trouble free service. Quattro AWD give these cars nearly supernatural driving abilities. When it's dry, Quattro gives dynamic cornering abilities. In inclement weather, Quattro is like having tank treads. If you want a car that can do anything, a stick shift Quattro is about as good as it gets. Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1999 Audi A4 2.8L Quattro with the desirable manual transmission. I would rate the exterior of this Audi to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking sedan. It is finished in black and looks good. The finish has a deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. As with any older vehicle, please expect to find a few scrapes and other imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. On the left side, the lower plastic moldings are missing, which is common. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels are wrapped in a nice set of rubber with deep tread all around. Please take the time to check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this Audi looks.
I would also rate the interior of this Audi to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The most noteworthy thing about this car is the S4 interior. While the seats do show some wear, an S4 interior is probably one of the best interiors you can get. The deeply bolstered seats are power operated and heated. They hold you tightly in place during spirited driving. The door cards do show some wear but are presentable for the age of the vehicle. The carpets show well for their age, too. The dash and headliner are clean...although the headliner is beginning to sag a little in the rear. The power windows, locks, seats, sunroof and mirrors work properly. The audio system is original and sounds good. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heater works properly but the air conditioner will need charged or serviced as it does not blow cold. The trunk is spacious and clean.
Mechanically, this Audi appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.8L engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good for an older car. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. The brakes and steering feel good, too. The most noteworthy thing about this Audi is that is has a brand new Sach's clutch. When I got this A4, the clutch was absolutely shot...probably the original. If you know these cars, you know what is involved in doing a clutch in this car. The clutch job is worth almost as much as the car itself. My intention was to do the timing belt and water pump while the engine was already out. Upon removal of the right timing cover, it is obvious that the belt has already been done...which was a pleasant surprise. It goes without saying that the clutch engages smoothly and the transmission shifts perfectly. You'll need to finish the break in miles on the clutch as I am not able to put that many miles on it. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. The only thing I noticed while my guy had it apart is that the one right tie rod end should be replaced. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. A 2.8L A4 Quattro with a manual transmission is one of the most capable and indesctuctible vehicles available. With this specific car having a brand new clutch and a newer timing belt, this Audi should be good to go for years and years and years of trouble free service. Quattro AWD give these cars nearly supernatural driving abilities. When it's dry, Quattro gives dynamic cornering abilities. In inclement weather, Quattro is like having tank treads. If you want a car that can do anything, a stick shift Quattro is about as good as it gets. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

Winning Bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us via eBay Message within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. Please do not leave a voicemail on the office phone.
Full payment is due within 7 day of the auction's end. The prefferred method is to bring cash in person to complete the sale. If you are unable to bring cash in person within seven days or will be having the vehicle shipped, we also accept Certified Checks, USPS Postal Money Orders, and wire transfer.
PayPal is not an accepted payment method. This includes Bill Me Later.
We cannot accept credit cards or personal checks.
Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are a PennDOT issuing agent and able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents.
For out-of-state buyers PennDOT offers a 30-day temporary tag (aka In-Transit tag). The cost is $45 and the buyer must show a valid driver's license and current proof of insurance. We can issue them at our office.
